Bel Ahdan: Welcome to show program Bel Ahdan. Bel Ahdan brings the other side of the Arab to your living room. Today we have a very special day. It’s not because we have Eid-ul Adha the sacrifice of the feast. We are been invited by a prominent Turkish thinker, an intellectual to talk with him about some of his books and views. He is the most prominent Islamic thinker in modern history. He has been handling current events and handling tough questions that trace in Muslims and Islam. Wrote Numerous books, hundreds of books, hundreds of movies and hundreds of articles. He has been invited to so many worldwide media. He’s been on all kind, BBC, Al Jazeera and his books and his articles been translated to different languages. And we are welcomed here as his guest here in Istanbul. This is a very special day for us, so Welcome to Bel Ahdan. Bel Ahdan means “With Open Arms.” So we open arms to you.

Bel Ahdan: I really, you know from my research and trying to know little bit about you. The first things I know that this person’s very cool and you talk about intelligent design. The first I heard about intelligent design, I thought you’re talking your fashion, the designing of your fashion and this is one of the few time that I found that a Muslim intellectual that is also very modern and very sightful to talking to non-Muslims.

Adnan Oktar :Thank you. You are looking with a beautiful eye and so you see beautiful things.

Bel Ahdan: You wrote so many books, so many articles, but most of your passion is to bring the Islamic view of most difficult and complicated questions facing Muslims, especially in science and especially Darwinism and the theory of evolution.  

Adnan Oktar : I merely research the facts. I tell the truth. I am opposed people being deceived and lied to. I am engaged in a struggle against that.  

Bel Ahdan: Is your biggest issue Darwinism and what are those issues? That’s the main issue that you think Darwinism or was Darwin himself? You call Darwin antiChrist, el-Dejjal so it is after all a biology theory, you know, it’s theory people can use it, abuse it, whatever. But what are the main issues that you have with the theory of evolution?

Adnan Oktar : Personally, Darwin was an ordinary human being of course. But I concentrate on his ideas. I believe that Darwinism is rooted in Freemasonry and that they are deliberately deceiving people. Because Darwin says that “if species really did evolve gradually from other species, why is it we do not encounter innumerable transitional forms? “ That is a statement that totally demolished Darwinism right from the outset. Since there are no transitional forms, since not a single intermediate fossil has ever been found; 100 million fossils have been unearthed, but not a single transitional one, and that is enough to totally discredit Darwinism all by itself. And it is in full agreement with what Darwin says. For example he says “Why, is all of nature not in a state of chaos but completely defined and ordered?” He says that everything is perfect and completely ordered. Why is that?” he asks. Because Allah creates it, that is why. “There should be countless transitional forms. So why do we not find countless numbers of them buried in the many strata of the earth? Why are all geological formations and strata not full of such links?” Is that statement not sufficient to put an end to Darwinism all by itself from the outset? In other words, there are 100 million fossils, and they all prove creation. Darwin says that. He says there are no transitional fossils. That means the matter is completely done and over with.

Bel Ahdan:  A lot of people from the scientific community also critical of Darwinism and they have some holes, but that does not mean creation is answer.

Adnan Oktar : What other alternative could there be? We look at that cup, and someone has clearly created it. Since it is created in our brains, since we see it in our brains, what second possibility could there be? When you ask someone, they will say this cup was manufactured in a factory, and they swear and we are all quite certain of it. But Allah creates it in our brains. Since we know this cannot come about by chance, there is no other alternative. It is a clear and obvious fact.  

Bel Ahdan: You have some issue with Darwinism and the theory of evolution played in our social life. And you contribute all kind of violence to Darwinism. You know, racism holocaust, the violence dividing the world is really based on and are furious. You are talking about social darwinism and not a lot of people will agree with social darwinism. you are talking about the separation between the social darwinism and biological darwinism. Can we imagine the world without biology? Or can biology survive without darwinism? And is there a such thing as islamic biology that can replace and answer some of the questions raised by the scientific community?

Adnan Oktar : Physics is a science. Chemistry is a science. Paleontology is a science. Geology is a science. But Darwinism is a pagan religion. It is a legacy from the Sumerian period. Or even older. It is a heretical, primitive religion, a belief from Ancient Egyptian times. It is a heretical, abnormal religion that deifies matter and ascribes divine force to atoms. It has nothing to do with being a science. In geology and paleontology we excavate the strata of the earth, see what is there and learn how creation took place. For example, we examine those 100 million fossils one by one. We compare them to living things today. And we see that they have not changed at all, that there is no difference between life forms’ original and present states. That is science. But when we go into Darwinism we encounter a totally illusory nature. We ask how protein came into being. It says by chance. We ask how the cell came into being. It days this, too, came about by chance. So how did the cell then develop? How did arms and legs appear, eyes and ears, and how did human beings begin to see? Again by chance, it says.  What does science have to do with chance? In other words, Darwinism is a heretical and fictitious faith entirely based on chance, and has nothing whatsoever to do with science. It is a blatant deception. 

Bel Ahdan: When you bring Islam and the Quran to the science area, isn’t it little bit dangerous to really put the Islam on the test for all those details because the science is a matter of research, a theory can be wrong and then they correct it, make changes. Darwin did not have all the knowledge fifty years ago, but when it comes to religion to explain science and when religion is wrong, what would you say?

Adnan Oktar : No. Religion only encourages science. Religion has no negative effect on science. On the contrary, it offers very positive encouragement. But religion long ago revealed many facts that science only discovered subsequently. That time is relative, for instance. The Qur’an told us 1400 years ago that time is a form of perception. Modern physics has only recently arrived at these truths. For example, we are told in the Qur’an that when it was first created the earth was covered in smoke and clouds. Science only discovered that 1400 years later. In that respect, the Qur’an is a very progressive and extraordinary book. And everything it says has so far come true. There is nothing in the Qur’an that conflicts with science. This is very important evidence confirming the truth of the Qur’an. Allah wants us to constantly research and investigate the Qur’an and to research how life began. Allah tells us to go and look. Religion and science therefore go hand in hand. There can be no science without religion. Einstein said that, and so do I.  

Bel Ahdan:  What is the origin of life?

Bel Ahdan: No, what I am saying we can test the evolution and look at them and find consistency, but how do you test creationism?

Adnan Oktar :We look at the fossils. There are fossils dating back 300, 400 or 500 million years. We can easily establish that when we look at the fossils. We can easily arrive at that conclusion if we examine 1 million of the 100 million existing fossils. In other words, there is no need to examine all 100 million. Just ten thousand, or five thousand or even one thousand would be enough to detect Creation.

Bel Ahdan: So creationism requires faith. Also evolution requires faith. Both require faith.

Adnan Oktar : Yes. Islamic is a true faith. The other is a pagan belief from ancient Sumerian times. It is a heretical faith, a weird, abnormal faith like Satanism and other such perversions.  

Bel Ahdan: You mention that darwinism and the theory of evolution is really galvanized or made our life very materialistic and not really big on moral and morality and all that. But when you look at the United States, where I came from, probably have the biggest religious feeling and eighty percent of the American people believe in creationism; however they are the most materialistic society. The Europeans which almost eighty percent do not believe in creationism, they are not as materialistic and also in the Muslim world where more than ninety percent believe in creationism, they are also very materialistic. I mean today we are very grateful that you invited me during the Eid and I went for a tour and been here for a couple of days and found out that mosque is empty, and shopping malls are full of people. So is materialism exclusively for those who do not have religious beliefs or also materialism has something to do with globalization and the fact that people who owns the media, who owns the corporations are running the show?

Adnan Oktar : The level of belief in Darwinism in Europe has fallen to 20%. My Atlas of Creation has had a huge impact in Europe. You can test it, too. I have seen the reality in polls on web sites, polls conducted by the press. That is how things stand in Turkey. The level of people who not believe in the theory of evolution is now 90% in Turkey. That means a huge mass of people with belief in Allah. But the fact that great masses of believers go shopping does not mean they are materialists. They go shopping because they need things. The mosques are also full to bursting, masha’Allah. That as the case this religious festival, and the last, and all the others. They generally flow over onto the streets and spread their prayer mats out and perform the namaz there. The number of mosques in Turkey has risen enormously. Islam is currently the strongest-growing religion in Europe; in those terms we can see the absolute defeat of materialism in Europe, and that Islam and religious belief have gone on the offensive. I can give you the relevant statistics later. We have carried out a detailed investigation on the subject. You can carry out a similar public opinion poll yourselves.  

Bel Ahdan: I am sorry to give the impression that Turkish are more materialistic than let’s say so Saudi Arabia. I was talking about the Muslims at large. I just happen to be here in Turkey, but in Asia everywhere you go, even especially the new generation or where people are deserting mosque, deserting that might go on Fridays, that’s about it. But deserting the mosque and ending up in a shopping mall. There are more people in shopping mall than the mosque, that’s for sure. But I don’t want to dwell on that. Let me bring your thoughts about combining the evolution and creationism or creation together. Some Muslims you call  the Muslim evolutionists are trying to do that and growing up back in Egypt as a youngster I read this verses from Surat al-Tin. Let me read it for you and tell me what you think of my interpretation to it.

So God created insan, Adam and Eve, as creationism stated. Then after the violation of the Divine Order, ate from the knowledge tree, whatever they’ve done, God brought them down  asfala safilina. Asfala safilina in arabic means the most, minute, smallest thing and that’s when the evolution kicks in and then takes million and billion years to develop conscience and religion, whatever. So this is my understanding or my little- I am not a scholar or anything, but I was very comfortable with that, that we can combine the two together, creationism first and evolutionism kicks in after descending from heaven as asfala safilina.

Adnan Oktar : The Prophet Jesus makes something resembling a bird out of mud. That is in a verse from the Qur’an. When he breathes on it the bird flies off. There is no evolution there. There is the staff of the Prophet Musa. He throws his staff down on the ground and it adopts the form of a snake, but a normal, reproducing snake. Then when he picks the snake up it turns back into a staff. That means that Allah has no need of evolution. The djinn and angels were not created through evolution. There are angels and djinn everywhere. But none were created through evolution. Therefore, as I have demonstrated in this example of creation, and as in the case of the djinn and angels, we are looking at instantaneous creation. There are no references to creation through evolution in the Qur’an. There would have been had that been the case. Allah could have created in that way had He so wished. But he did not.  These are totally artificial interpretations. This truth has currently enfolded the whole world. Thousands of reports have appeared in the European press. Reports about the collapse of evolution and growing strength of religion. The faith is growing very rapidly in the Islamic world, too. This is also a portent of the coming of the Prophet Jesus and the Mahdi. This age, and the next century in particularly, will be the age when Islam comes to rule the whole world and Darwinism, materialism, fascism, communism and all of them are eliminated. All artificial systems are being eradicated with the collapse of Darwinism. Those who are trying to reconcile the Qur’an with evolution have nothing to say when we ask how the djinn and the angels evolved. Because it is obvious. The djinn and the angels never evolved at all. They were created instantaneously. Allah, who is capable of creating them in a moment also created human beings in a moment and created all living things in the same way. But it appears that animals were created in phases. Reptiles in one phase, and other life forms in another. But they were still created through instantaneous creation. We can see the evidence for sudden creation when we look at the fossil record. There are no transitional fossils. If there were, then I would say that Allah’s creation worked in that way. But there are not. It is all a fabrication. These are artificial accounts based on Darwinists’ imagination lacking any evidence whatsoever. I have said I will give 10 trillion [Turkish lira] to anyone producing a single piece of scientific evidence, but nobody has come up with any. I repeat, I will give 10 trillion lira to anyone who produces a single transitional fossil, who produces any evidence to prove Darwinism. I have been saying that for months, but nobody has ever come knocking on my door. And they will not be able to.

Adnan Oktar : No. The reward is big enough, but there is no evidence.  

Bel Ahdan: No. How could creationism, Allah create billions of species in six days? And I know you are going to say this is not literally six days, it is a different time, but still millions and billions of species created in such period of time. Also as we question things in Darwinism, this is very hard to be explained besides the fact that Allah says “ be and been”

Adnan Oktar : When you look at the Sun or the Moon you are looking at the Sun or Moon inside your brain. You cannot see the Sun or Moon on the outside. When you look at the world, when you look at a window outside, you see the view inside  your brain. You cannot see what is on the outside. Only Allah know what exactly lies outside. There is matter on the outside, but we experience images of it, not the original. Therefore, Allah creates every species in creation, everything as images in our brains. The originals do exist on the outside, but we deal with images of them. For example, you and I appear to be sitting at a distance from one another, but my watch and your watch are created in the same place in your brain. If you rub your eyes a little, my image and your will move around. That is clear evidence we are dealing with an image of matter. But the image is so clear and high quality and three-dimensional that we are imagine we are dealing with the real thing. The fact is, however, that this is a deception stemming from the clarity of the image. Allah has created us in this way with a superb artistry. And it is absolutely amazing. The world is only just beginning to grasp this great reality.

Bel Ahdan: Let’s assume that millions and billions of species were created in “be and been”. How do you explain the post Noah ark, you know when the flood came, all life, being was gone? How do you put all those back together on an ark, on a ship, it’s still hard to comprehend that millions and billions of species would be on one ark, one ship. I am sure you have an explanation for that, I’d be very interested to hear it.

Adnan Oktar : Nuh’s flood was a regional one. Nuh only allowed animals he needed, important animals to be used in agriculture or food production, onto the Ark, and that is quite normal. In other words, if someone migrates from one place to another he will take with him everything he needs. Allah wanted Nuh to take with him all the animals he would need to use. And so he did, and those animals were subsequently used. Since there were cows and sheep and goats on the Ark, life was much easier when the boat landed. Because those animals would make up the losses of the animals that had ceased to exist there, and there were disembarked and made life easier for the people living there. But that was not a global flood. It was a regional one.  

Bel Ahdan: I thought they said everything on earth, but.. One of your biggest issues that evolution has no soul, it has no moral. Do we have to have religion or Allah to have moral? A lot of people don’t believe in Allah, a lot of people not afraid of punishment, they believe in Allah, they don’t believe in punishment, but they still do good without fearing Allah. So doing good doesn’t necessarily a proof of creation. You don’t have to have Allah or religion to do good. Because to secure your survival you have to be good to others, so they can be good to you like Darwin talk about the selfish genes. You know, the one survives and develops some kind of artistic, cooperative to other species.

Adnan Oktar : Atheists are not godless in the literal sense in practical terms. They all subconsciously believe in Allah. They persist in their obstinacy out of pride, or stubbornness or ignorance. Otherwise, every human being subconsciously inevitably believe in Allah. This is not a subject with a second alternative. But they say they do not believe in Him, either from pressure from those round them or perhaps from a wish to appear marginal. But when we look at their lives we see how they stick very closely to religion. Many atheists are quite scrupulous when it comes to the concept of the family. Yet the family is one of the basic commandments of religion. If they do not believe in religion, why are they so scrupulous regarding the family?  It means they abide at religion in some way. There are also atheists who watch believers, learn from them and are eager to follow them on other matters. They are therefore again under the influence of religion. Even if they deny it, even if they say they deny it, they are still subconsciously complying with religion.

Bel Ahdan: We can only say with what they say. But the Muslim world and the western world now is in big crisis, financial institutions collapsing and mortgage and economy and they are desperately looking for a different model and the end of capitalism as we know it might be at hand. How can Islam help in this global crisis?

Adnan Oktar : For one thing, there is trust in Allah rather than panic in the solution that Islam will bring with it. Panic is one of the main destructive factors in events of this kind. Since Muslims put their trust in Allah and never panic, the question of panic will be eliminated. Second, there is no financial interest in Islam. It is interest that produced this system. Interest rates must be reduced to zero. Mutual aid is important is an element of Islam. Helping the poor, giving them opportunities, even giving them plenty of money and absolving them of their debts if they have any. Debt forgiveness is commanded by the Qur’an.  These are very, very important. But this crisis is of the significant events that are described as taking place in the End Times, portents of the coming of the Mahdi, before the coming of the Prophet Jesus. And there is no way back from this crisis. It will probably last for 7 years. That is indicated in the Qur’an. It began in 2007, and I estimate it will go on until 2014. Allah knows the truth. Precautionary measures against the crisis, interest rates being brought down to zero, lowering taxes, really lowering taxes, wiping off debts, attaching importance to agriculture and livestock-raising of all kinds, even poultry-raising, and attaching importance to the whole food sector, and support for all industries concerned with food, agriculture and livestock-raising, these things are all crucially important.  When these things are done the main danger will be neutralized. But it is also important for hospitals to be free of charge, for the poor to be examined free of charge and those with money to be examined for only a small fee. Prescriptions for medicines should be reduced to a very low level, in other words, they should be free to the poor. It is very important for the drugs industry and hospitals and the work on treatment charges and for it all to be made much easier. And if possible, charges should be reduced to nothing or at least made very, very cheap. These will solve the main problems. But the real solution will be attained with the coming of the Mahdi, and everything will be much easier in the time of the Prophet Jesus. The hadiths say there will be great abundance of goods in that time and that people will enjoy great economic prosperity. We are told that goods will be given to people but that they will be embarrassed and want to hand it back, but that those goods will not be accepted back from those people. That is the age of the Mahdi, in other words. The age of the coming of the Mahdi. We are heading towards it. Islam will spread and rule the world, insha’Allah. It will reach perfection with the return of the Prophet Jesus.

Bel Ahdan: You are aware that first African American president elected to the United States then he assembled the greatest brain in the United States try to deal with this problem, but I don’t see any Muslim on his team in spite of the fact he has some knowledge and tradition of Islam, his father was Muslim and his name is Hussein. Would you have wanted that you see some Muslims scholars or Muslim thinking in his capital, in his team at least they’d given a different perspective on this global problem?

Adnan Oktar : There is little Obama can do on the subject. This crisis is one of the important portents that are described as taking place in a miraculous manner in the End Times. But they are really pressurizing Obama. They are giving the impression that if you are a Muslim you must be risky. And since he is under pressure he will probably neither wish to talk about Islam nor to bring a Muslim in along side him.  That is not right. The pressure on Obama must be lifted. It is very ugly. George Bush used to praise Islam with no difficulty. He was able to establish links with Muslims and praise the Qur’an. He could say what he liked. Sarkozy was freely able to talk about the Qur’an. It is unbecoming to force Obama into such a corner. In my view, he should be given the opportunity to behave freely. He will then be better able to display such behavior.  

Bel Ahdan:  That means he has been accused of been Muslim or been softy that makes him react, as you say that very cold to Muslims to not to been accused of being associated with Muslims because as you say he was accused of being a Muslims so he wants to stay as far as possible with Muslims and Islam.

Adnan Oktar : Yes. This may be a special Masonic tactic. It may be a ruse of theirs to keep the American people away from Islam. They may be using the pressure on Obama as a tactic. It may be a special method they are using to keep Obama away from Muslims, Islamic talk or saying anything about the Qur’an. Of course there needs to be a strong effort to put that right.  

Bel Ahdan: It’s interesting that you said that president Bush can comfortably talk about Islam and Muslims and Quran and here is a president that invaded to Muslim countries and accuse of Islam of being evil, divide the world to good and evil and all that. What do you think of Bush, last eight years as a Muslim and as an intellectual, as somebody observing great leader in the world and how in fact in eight years is single handed really brought the Republican party to collapse and American people on the most hated all over the world and he really alienated most of the muslim world.

Adnan Oktar : Everything Bush did was in destiny. It was a destiny ordained by Allah. He followed the destiny Allah appointed for him. For example, the invasion of Afghanistan is one of the portents of the coming of the Mahdi. The invasion of Iraq is a portent of the coming of the Mahdi. Even these two events are determined in destiny. It makes no difference whether it was Bush or anyone else. Allah would and does use anyone as His instrument. Allah made Bush His instrument there. That was his destiny, and he followed that destiny. All events, all the events that will take place in the End Times, are events in destiny. As you know, the universe is 15 billion years old, it began with a huge explosion 15 billion years ago, and the Qur’an refers to that, saying that the universe was created out of nothing. That is one of the miracles of the Qur’an.  This whole life, everything to date, is ordained within destiny. Looked at from that perspective, of course we can clearly see their errors and mistakes, he will be giving the account of his errors to Allah in the hereafter, and he also will be rewarded for the good he done. But what counts is that Bush is someone who believes in Allah and is opposed to Darwinism. That is highly important. But he could have been more affectionate towards Muslims in Iraq and Afghanistan. He could have resolved these issues in a rational and scientific manner by getting Muslims involved. But he did not. That is a flaw. An error of his. But in the next phase all problems will be completely resolved and everything will be on an excellent footing.

Bel Ahdan: I know there are a lot of people interfering American election, but this is first for me Allah interfering with American election too. Do you think Allah interfering in life on a daily basis or just create the laws that govern our behavior and our conducts?

Adnan Oktar : We have already lived our eternal lives in a single moment and it is all done. There is but one moment on the sight of Allah. Time is relative. It is a mode of perception. We manufacture time by comparing one moment with another in our minds. There is no time or space in Allah’s sight. There is just one moment. Allah created everything in a single moment. For example, we are talking because it is ordained in destiny that we should talk. You also asked your last question because it was ordained you should. Nobody can step outside destiny. Nobody can step outside what Allah has ordained. For example, our Prophet (saas) stated 1400 years ago that blood would be spilled in Iraq and that Iraq would be invaded by foreign countries. Our Prophet (saas) has described in great detail how Iraq would be occupied by non-Muslim countries, how Baghdad would be in flames, that much Muslim blood would be shed there, that reconstruction would commence after the destruction, that Baghdad would be rebuilt, that Iraq would be reconstructed and that the Iraqi currency would become invalid. He gave all those details. He gave a wide-ranging description, and it has all happened. It is even narrated that he said, ‘Woe to Taliqan.’ He said that Afghanistan would be invaded, and that is what happened. The details given are all miracles and they all happened just like our prophet had stated .

Bel Ahdan: I have really, I’ve always as a Muslim, full of muslim culture,and i am  proud to be a muslim. I’m always puzzled, and little bit confused when I hear that Islam or Quran or Prophet explained everything and all the answers are there and Quran is a miracle and it has answer for everything, but when you look at Muslims, there is a huge gap between Islam and Muslims. Muslims are in a very bad state of affair for the last probably a thousand years, haven’t gotten a brilliant or any good or original idea in science and medicine, even politically or economically. So how do you explain this huge gap between what the miracle of Quran and religion of Islam and the prophet has given us and what the state of affair of Muslims and that they are looked at as, now after 9/11, terrorists and dependent on foreigners on economical and political survival and they are just observer of world affairs.

Adnan Oktar : Muslims across the world have newly begun to understand the Qur’an and live by Islam once more. Communist parties, Stalinist thinking, used to prevail in Iraq, in Syria and in Palestine. The communists were in power in the Turkic world. The Islamic world is only now being freed from communist, Darwinist and materialist thinking; it has only just been freed from this disease. The Islamic world has just begun convalescing and coming round again. In fact just after this point they will make huge advances in civilization, in science, modernity, progressivism and art. That will be in the time of the Mahdi and the Prophet Jesus. Our Prophet (saas) has described how there will be a time of such suffering and tribulation and collapse. That age of corruption is over. A splendid age of enlightenment has begun. That time you refer to has just ended. What follows will be an age of constant enlightenment, progress and strength.

Bel Ahdan: Where do you see that? Where do you see the Islamic enlightenment? What is the Islamic model that you can look up to?

Adnan Oktar : We can see this in Turkey and other countries. But we can take Turkey as a model. In the ‘70s the level of people believing in Allah in Turkey stood at around 30%; 70% believed in Darwinism. But there is now a mass of 90% who believe in Allah and reject Darwinism. This is something splendid. It is reflected everywhere, in politics, in events, in the press and the way that a very high-quality Muslim society has emerged and is emerging.  And that progress is still going on. Serious steps have been taken toward the establishment of the Turkish-Islamic Union. There has been great progress made toward the founding of an Islamic Union, toward the founding of a Turkic Union. It is not possible to describe it at length on this program, of course. But anyone logging onto the harunyahya.net, harunyahya.org and harunyahya.com web sites can access detailed information about it. Within 10 years, Islam will have spread right across the Islamic and Turkic worlds. You will soon see Islamic moral values ruling the world. The coming of the Prophet Jesus is close at hand. The Prophet Jesus will return in 10-20 years. And the world will enter an entirely new age. We will see that across the world. There have been profound changes in Europe, for instance. We can see from publications, works of all kinds and newspaper reports that materialism has been dealt a body blow and has collapsed. We see that Creationism has risen enormously. Looking at these portents, we can see that all the words of our Prophet (saas) are true.  

Bel Ahdan: More than eighty years ago a great Turkish leader, the founder of modern Turkey ,really transformed the country, the culture, the economy by some might say keeping Islam at the mosque and out of science and now do you feel that you have destiny to recorrect that and to bring Islam back to our daily life and our asp?

Do you feel you have a mission, do you have a destiny? You’ve been called for the same tradition that the founder of modern Turkey had eighty years ago?

Adnan Oktar : Ataturk supported the idea of a Turkish-Islamic Union right from the start. I have emphasized that in many of my books and works. Ataturk was a very religious man and believed in Allah. He opposed Darwinism and was strongly opposed to communism and materialism. He was opposed to Freemasonry. He closed down the masonic lodges in Turkey. He regarded communism as the gravest threat. He was totally on the side of Turkish-Islamic union. My ideas are therefore the same as Ataturk’s.

Bel Ahdan: A lot of people would be surprised from this. But I know this is feast, then I don’t want to keep you away from, this is wonderful time for me personally that I spent this special day in Istanbul, one of the greatest city I’ve ever been, it is a wonderful city, it reminds of Cairo, I think it’s like Cairo in the 50’s. I think you’ve done wonderful and I appreciate your honesty and openness for such complicated questions. But I don’t want to end this without talk little bit about what do you think of America as a country, as a people, as a culture and the role of this destiny, this time that you are living in these days?

Adnan Oktar : Splendid. Americans are very joyful, polite and respectful. They are full of life. Their houses are lovely. And their streets. There is greenery everywhere. Everywhere is closely bound up with nature. They love freedom. They are secular, humane, respectful of all ideas, and full of respect for one another. What more need one add? And they will be even more perfect when Jesus returns.

Bel Ahdan: This is a good time to end this, sure this is a great time for us. I really appreciate. Thank you so much. I know this is nothing, but I know you are a great writer, you keep writing and this is just small pocken. But it is amazing how your writing is affecting people and a man of energy and resources writing all those books.  So thank you so much. Teşekkür.
