1. Why do the Turkish people and government support Palestine?
Palestine is a sacred land for all Muslims. It spent some 400 years in Ottoman hands and enjoyed its finest and most peaceful days under Muslim Turkish rule. Palestine has always been a legacy that Turkey and Turkish society have had to look out for. The Turkish people have always been a highly religious nation, one devoted to spiritual values. But over the last 20 years in particular, this public spirit has grown many times over in Turkish society with the total collapse of Darwinism, and the awareness to protect all needy Muslims has increased enormously. As you know, in the 1970s, around 80% of Turkish people believed in Darwinism. At that time, Palestine was regarded as merely a communist cause. Indeed, at that time Palestine was literally a camp for Marxists. But you can count the number of believers in Darwinism in Turkey today on the fingers of one hand. Turkey is one of the countries with the strongest belief in Allah and lowest belief in Darwinism in the world as a whole. A very moderate, balanced, public spirited, courageous and rational conception of Islam has settled in Turkey, as a result of which Turkey feels a moral responsibility to protect, serve and lead the whole Turkic-Islamic world. And by Allah’s leave, the nation will discharge that responsibility in the finest possible manner.
2. What is the cause of the Palestinian problem?
The Messenger of Allah (saas) saw these things as if in a mirror, and described them exactly. He referred to Muslim blood being spilled, to major events in this time, to anarchy, and the shedding of the blood of the innocent, even women and children being killed, even to pregnant women being killed, and to terrible corruption. But after that, he says, “when the Mahdi from among my descendants appears, everything will be reversed and there will be an age of well-being, abundance, peace, plenty, kindness and beauty.” Therefore, these things are all signs that the Sun will soon rise and that a bright future awaits Muslims. The aim of atheist Zionists in these attacks is to wear Muslims down, they think, and to break the strength of Muslims. At the same time, they are also attacking religious Christians and religious Jews. This is the “Dajjal’s” way of thinking. It is the Dajjal’s behavior. Dajjal’s behavior is something known well. It is narrated in traditions that “The Dajjal will besiege and surround believers in a place near the Masjid al-Aqsa. And Muslims will be afflicted by terrible hunger...” This is also one of the Dajjal’s assaults. The system of the Dajjal has emerged. They have been opposing Muslims in this way for many years now. Muslims must form an alliance against them. It is a sin for Muslims to be fragmented. Unification is a religious duty. Insha’Allah, a Turkish-Islamic Union will come about and will put an end to these scourges and afflictions.
3. What is the solution to this 60-year-old problem?
The Qur’an shows the solution. Allah has shown it to us. But some Muslims are not concentrating on that solution. These scourges will always be around so long as they do not concentrate on that solution. Blood will flow in streams in the Islamic world and there will be terrible corruption. Muslims will suffer all kinds of pain and tribulations. The only solution is the Turkish-Islamic Union. There are some 20-25 million Masons and atheist Zionists in the world. But note how their main characteristic is the way they protect and look out for one another. They are united, not fragmented. Look how an alliance of 20-25 million people has taken the whole world captive. Yet if Muslims ally themselves together, and there are more than a billion Muslims, as you know, even their breath can put an end to all this strife. It is a sin for Muslims to be divided. It is a sin for Muslims not to unite. Muslims cannot be strong so long as that sin is still being committed. It is essential for Muslims to be united, a commandment from Allah. If Muslims unite, if they raise their desire for unification at every available opportunity, Israel will immediately stop in its tracks. The very subject will cease to be a problem. There will be no problem in Afghanistan, nor in Iraq. For that reason, all Muslims must desire the Turkish-Islamic Union and pray constantly for it. They must seek Hazrat Mahdi (as) and speak of such things at lawful meetings and assemblies, put them on posters and discuss them in speeches. Allah will definitely bring the Turkish-Islamic Union about, and these are our prayers, insha’Allah.
