NEWSTALK KXYL: Prominent Turkish creationist and author Adnan Oktar is joining us today from Turkey; he is here to talk about Turkey being the main ground for creationism and also Darwinism. Welcome to the program.

ADNAN OKTAR: Thank you.

NEWSTALK KXYL: You have written over 300 books, mainly focusing on Darwinism. Tell us what kind of response you got from that?

ADNAN OKTAR: It has created a huge shock in the world, because hundreds, thousands or tens of thousands of universities used to espouse Darwinism. But when they were suddenly confronted by such an idea, and when I demolished Darwinism with the scientific evidence, they were unable to get over that shock. It damaged their self-pride. They are only now trying to come to terms with it. Dawkins goes and debates with children or priests, but he cannot debate with me. Because he is 100% certain he will be defeated. But he tries to depict himself as a hero. He had a web site, and that web site contained personal defamations of me. I therefore applied to the courts to have that web site closed down, and it was closed following a court ruling. He tried to give the impression that his ideas were very great ones and that we were unable to stand up to his influential views. But I placed a notice in a British paper, challenging him to a debate. If I were afraid of his ideas, I would not want to have him speak before the cameras. That means his ideas and opinions are completely empty and shallow, total inventions. Thanks be to Allah, I have routed Darwinism using very powerful evidence. By Allah’s leave, there is now no question of Darwinism ever coming back to life, insha’Allah.

NEWSTALK KXYL: Now in response to this, were there more people expressing surprise, or were they actually angry, or did they engage in acts of aggression? How did they take it?

ADNAN OKTAR: Their pride was hurt. They became very tense because of the hurt to their pride. They were shocked and stunned. It had been very easy for them to influence the world as they talked about Darwinism. But then their lies were exposed and they saw there were more than 250 million living fossils, and as you know, fossils dating back 50 or 100 million years are identical to their counterparts living today. There are more than 250 million fossils like that. I have exposed that reality that they kept hidden. That really stunned them. I have also explained that it is scientifically for proteins to come into being by chance. That is a scientific truth they also have to accept. They have thus been totally devastated. They are now in a state of regret, astonishment and hurt pride and rage.

NEWSTALK KXYL: Almost out of time here. There is another book that I want to ask a question about; “Islam Denounces Terrorism”. A question that many people have asked a lot of times, whenever there are incidents that happen and it seems like some of the Muslim side are keeping quiet, it doesn’t seem like anyone stands up and says, “We don’t approve of that, we don’t want to be associated with that”. And so the book “Islam Denounces Terrorism”. What does that book cover with regard to that?

ADNAN OKTAR: Darwinism means materialism, and materialism means communism and communism, as you know, is Marxist-Leninist philosophy. Terror and anarchy lie at the heart of this thinking. I have proved in detail how Darwinism and materialism lie at the root of the terror and anarchy in the world, and of communism and fascism. This terrible theory led to the death of more than 350 million people in World Wars I and II, and took away the idea of love, peace and brotherhood. Because there is the idea of thesis, antithesis and synthesis in Darwinist thought. There is the idea of contradiction. The idea of conflict between opposites. They set the people of the world against one another with that philosophy and logic, and inflicted terrible pain and suffering on it. I describe that in my book. And the peaceful nature of the Qur’an, that the Qur’an espouses moral virtues, and that Almighty Allah tells us to forgive even those who kill. I describe how Allah says there can be no compulsion in the deen. Those are things I discuss.
