An interview with Mr. Adnan Oktar by Al Jazeera TV (Istanbul - February 22, 2008)
In his interview by Al-Jazeera TV, Mr.Adnan Oktar had been asked about Freemasonry, Knights of Malta and such other organisations pretending to be charitable, philanthropic institutions. His reply to why such organisations have such a wide acceptance in the society was : “ Societies devoid of religion attract adherents much more easily; it is much easier for them. If you tell someone you will give them alcohol to drink and show them a fun time, he will follow along behind you, especially if you throw in some money as well. So it is not that hard to organise such associations. That is the reason for their success; irreligion develops with the greatest of ease. Because there is nothing difficult in atheism. There is no need to get up at night or at the crack of dawn and pray, for instance. You just tell people to sleep as long as they like, to drink alcohol, to commit whatever outrages they like, as long as they join your association. Everyone will join. Well, almost everyone. So that actually represents no success at all. Success is what is difficult. In other words, what believers produce, because that involves great hard work. God always supports the true believer, Muslims. Events always end in their success, as long as they are true, genuine Muslims, of course.”
