An interview with Mr. Adnan Oktar by Suud1 TV (April 23, 2008)

In his interview by Suud1 TV, one of the most renowned television channels of Saudi Arabia, Mr. Adnan Oktar replied the question inquiring the effect of his books all over the world, by stating that it is Allah doing and creating everything. He said that Allah had created His servants as a means. Mr.Adnan Oktar said “when the time comes Allah reveals the books that are already determined in destiny”.

Mr.Adnan Oktar stated that Darwinism was used as an effective philosophical means to form the foundation of atheism for a long time. He declared the introduction of the actual state of the subterranean fossils to the humanity had been a giant blow on Darwinism. Mr. Adnan Oktar stated that all of the fossils excavated which are more than 100 million, had proved creation. He depicted that the skeletons of the animals which lived 300 million years ago were exactly the same with the contemporary ones.
Mr. Oktar said that the collapse of Darwinism had caused a great relief amongst the Muslims and that Islam had spread like an avalanche all through the world. He also referred to the effect of the mass distribution of his book, the Atlas of Creation, in France. Stating that atheism was widespread in France, he said that the distribution of the Atlas had caused a shocking effect on French people and that this was referred to as “ the biggest calamity in the history of France, an earthquake, a tornado and also as the biggest offensive attack ever received in France” by their own words.
Mr. Adnan Oktar, after stating that he had been subjected to various forms of oppression and coercion just after he had published his book named “Freemasonry and Judaism”, said that he had been kept in a mental hospital locked with aggressive and mentally deranged patients who have killed before for 10 months and also been imprisoned for 9 months but has never ever given up his intellectual struggle and that he would never do so.
Mr. Adnan Oktar stated that his sole aim is to gain the approval of Allah and he had concluded his interview with the following message he had sent to all the Muslims in the Arabian countries: “I want Muslims to love and be brothers to one another, with no discrimination between sects, or whether someone happens to be a Hanafi, Sunni, Shafii, or whatever. We believe in the same Allah, in the same prophet and face the same direction in prayer. We love the same prophets and the same angels, and our everything is more or less the same, so building walls and even enmity between us on the basis of minor details merely serves the interests of Shaytan. There must be no such thing. We are all, inshaAllah, sincere Muslims, genuine brothers. And, inshaAllah, we will all be together in the hereafter. There is an auspicious side of such divisions as well. I believe it is totally wrong to make an issue out of them.”

ADNAN OKTAR’S INTERVIEW WITH SAUDI 1 TV (SAUDI ARABIA)

Interviewer: Your books have been appearing not solely in Turkey, but everywhere in recent years. Could you tell us something about that? How did you manage it?

Adnan Oktar: It is Allah who does and creates all things. It is Allah who creates my books and us ourselves. He uses His servants as a means. When the time came Allah revealed the books determined in destiny. For a long time, Darwinism was the most influential philosophical system representing the foundation for atheism. It was an important branch of philosophy. Matters were covered up by using the logic that scientists cannot be wrong, telling us "show respect to scientists’ views, do not challenge their ideas". The most important thing we have done this year was to display subterranean fossils to people. That dealt a lethal blow to Darwinism. It was something that had been kept hidden. Because some 100 million fossils have so far been unearthed. And the number continues to rise with every passing day. Note that each and every one of these fossils proves the fact of creation, in other words, there are 100 million fossils proving creation. Skeletons of animals which lived 300 million years ago are exactly the same as they are today. Without exception. In contrast, there is not one transitional fossil of the kind these people maintain. Not one transitional form fossil has ever been found. We said that if they have any, they should bring them to Taksim Square in Istanbul and put them on display. We suggested to display them in front of the Eiffel Tower in Paris. Let us all have a look, we said. But they were of course unable to produce such a thing. Because no such thing exists, not a single one. It could have been possible, Allah might have created such a thing. But there are none. Allah has disproved this terrible deception by means of these underground fossils, and has shown the whole humanity that He created them. Allah has thus declared to all mankind that He created them. These books have merely been instrumental in that.

Interviewer: I am going to refer to your books again. When did this book-writing and research begin? Could you tell us something about that?

Adnan Oktar : My first book, Judaism and Freemasonry, came out in around 1986. After that my books continued coming out at a great speed. My work on my books has been going on for some 22 years.

Interviewer: They also appear in other languages, in Arabic, for example. Do these elicit any responses? What kind of reactions are forthcoming?

Adnan Oktar: They have been an instrument in a glorious awakening and development in Europe and the whole Islamic world. The whole Islamic world has witnessed the demolition of denial. The Islamic world used to be reluctant to take Darwinism on. They were uneasy, and worried in case it happened to be true and that this would have a damaging impact on the faith. But Muslims have breathed a huge sigh of relief with the eradication of Darwinism, and Islam has suddenly begun spreading like an avalanche. France was a country in which atheism was very much effective. Especially when the books were, this Atlas was distributed there, it had a huge, explosive impact in France. They themselves have compared it to a tornado, in their own words, to an earthquake. They say they are on the receiving end of the greatest offensive attack against the French in the history of France. Others describe it as the worst disaster in French history. Because a culture dating back 150 years has completely collapsed. All of a sudden. The matter came to an end in a few nights. They had been active for 150 years, but the matter was set to rights in just 2 days. That came as a huge blow, of course. They entered a state of shock. But in general speaking, the French started to behave honestly afterwards. For example, the president Sarkozy, used to hold materialist, atheist and Marxist views. A huge change took place in him after reading my book. He is now a devout Catholic; he believes in the existence of Allah. He believes in the prophets, in the hereafter, in the need for religion, and talks about this with great enthusiasm and honesty. He tells people of the benefits of religion, how it is an instrument for peace and a major obstacle to terrorism. Not only in him, we started to see these effects on other leaders as well. We have seen the same approach in Tony Blair, for instance. As you know, he used to be a socialist with left-leaning views, who spoke in atheistic terms. Amazing changes took place in these people, that means they approached honestly, I mean in a sense they have adopted a honest position in respect of religion. InshaAllah, things will become even better in the future. When the Prophet ‘Isa (as) returns they will be full Muslims. The matter will rest on even sounder foundations, inshaAllah.

Interviewer: As you said a short while back, you have written books about Freemasonry and Judaism. Has any pressure ever been put on you? As you know, the Masons are very powerful everywhere. All the world is suffering from the calamities coming from them.

Adnan Oktar: When the time came to publish my book I sought the views of many eminent scholars and Hodjas. They tried to warn me off, saying "beware, don't ever publish this, the Masons would destroy you if you do." They said I would be making a rod for my own back. Allah forbid, they might even kill or injure you or have you imprisoned, they said. They can do anything. But I said I would go ahead because I was on Allah’s path. And I published my book. As soon as it came out I was detained in a mental hospital for 10 months on the grounds I was mentally ill. I was held for 10 months among aggressive psychiatric patients who had committed murders and were beyond all reason, with 300 other criminally insane people in a building that was in a dreadful state of disrepair. I also spent 9 months in prison. When they saw I was never going to bow my head they realised there was no point in keeping me there and let me go. I was acquitted of all the charges against me. They also annulled the report stating I was mentally ill and let me go. But matters did not end there. Further detentions and false allegations followed. Unbelievable libels against me appeared in the pres and I was accused of all the crimes in the world. Most recently, an operation was carried out against me in 1999. Ugly, inconceivable allegations were made, such as, forming a gang, mafia membership. They accused me of all kinds of things, blackmailing women, for instance. But one by one I proved that these were all lies. Some were disproved in the courts. For example I disproved that blackmail allegation through the courts. Others I disproved using the state’s own official reports. I was accused of financial wrongdoing and corruption. There is an official body known as MASAK. We used that, to investigate the matter and were totally exonerated, and it was seen that all that accusations were merely a slander.

Interviewer: I would like to ask you one final question about your books. Do you have any other aims? Everyone has ambitions and aims. Do you have anything of that sort that you want to do even better and more excellent.

Adnan Oktar: There is a Qur'anic verse, I seek shelter from Shaytan in Allah. In the name of Allah, All Merciful, Most Merciful. "Fight them until there is no more fitna and the deen is Allah’s alone." This means, until Islamic moral values prevail the whole world, a Muslim cannot sit back, he will be in constant state of struggle. That is what I am doing. Verse 55 of Surat an-Nur says that Allah will make the Islamic moral values prevail the whole world. He says He will do this when no partners are ascribed to Him and when men are honest. I am striving to make this promise of Allah's a reality, and my only aim is to win His approval.

Interviewer: Do you have a final message for all Arab countries, for Arab Muslims?

Adnan Oktar: I want Muslims to love and be brothers to one another, with no discrimination between sects, or whether someone happens to be a Hanefi, Sunni, Shafii, or whatever. We believe in the same Allah, in the same prophet and face the same direction in prayer. We love the same prophets and the same angels, and our everything is more or less the same, so building walls and even enmity between us on the basis of minor details merely serves the interests of Shaytan.
