DR. MORDECHAI KEDAR: OK, what is the Islamic approach, the attitude of Islam to what happens these days in Syria or in Libya, for example?

ADNAN OKTAR:What has been going on in Syria is of course persecution. I mean a Muslim would not persecute another Muslim. There is sadism and cruelty in that. As you know the Syrian army has an atheistic training; they are at a Darwinist, materialist, atheist, Marxist, Leninist line. Consequently major part of the soldiers, the greater portion of them - I mean those who are in command, those who are trained by this upbringing - are able to treat people ruthlessly. They are ruthless, merciless people who are inclined to cruelty; those are people who do not regard others as humans. As far as I see they have a belief in which, as Darwin has said, the strong dominates, and the righteous does not prevail. We see the cruelty and sadism of the Marxist, Leninist way of thinking in them. Consequently the regime in Syria, the sadism of the deep state regime there is being condemned vehemently by the whole world. We of course are condemning that vehemently as well. A massive persecution is being executed. That is what we see and we hear that those we do not see are even fiercer. But our Prophet (saas) has foretold in great detail that such events will take place in Syria, in the time of Mahdi (pbuh) that is the time of the King Messiah; he (pbuh) did so by defining the place and the incidents. These incidents going on in Syria are among the portents of the appearance of Mahdi (pbuh) as well. As per the incidents in Libya, Muammar Gaddafi is one of the last remnants of the time of cruel tyrants. Our Prophet (saas) foretold that at the time of Mahdi (pbuh) the cruel tyrants would one by one be withdrawn from the stage of history. He is among the final tyrants. He will be gone as well. In fact he has already gone. Other cruel tyrants will be gone as well. Following those, our Prophet (saas) says; "Mohammad Mahdi who will be one of my sons will appear." He is from the line of Hazrat Ali (ra). And Hazrat Ali (ra) is from the line of the Prophet David (pbuh). King David, Hazrat David as you know. So Mahdi will be a descendant of the Prophet David (pbuh) at the same time. He will establish peace, brotherhood and love in the whole region. The time of cruel tyrants has ended. The time of tyrants, dajjals [anti-messiah] has ended. From now on, we are entering a time in which peace, democracy, brotherhood, love, goodness, science, arts and aesthetics, all kinds of beauties would prevail. We will live this. Israel will be living by the most beautiful days of her history as well. They will be living freely in that endless vast lands, in the promised land. They will establish factories, facilities all around. I mean they will be as free as the birds. Their safety of lives will be ensured. They will live in joy. Your hearts should be very much at ease in that respect as well. Our Palestinian brothers will also live freely in the region, in the promised lands in utmost joy. The children of the Prophet Ishmael (pbuh) and the children of the Prophet Israel (pbuh) will embrace each other. Consequently a period of peace and brotherhood will start. Not even a drop of blood would be shed and those asleep would not be awakened. Our Prophet (saas) has a hadith in that context. Moreover, not even a nose of a person would ever bleed. That is a characteristic of the time of Mahdi (pbuh) mentioned in the hadiths. Now we are entering that period. Within 5-10 years you will come to see that all those I have just said are true insha'Allah.
