My 50 years dream was the re-unification of these two nations who lived as brothers for 400 years in the time of the Ottomans. I tried to eplain that Istanbul can become the Brussels of Turkey and Greece. My dreams about a union formed by the surrounding countries are even stronger now," he said. Some professors stated that this is the initiation of the formation of a giant union that unites Christians and Muslims under the banner of Islam like the expansion period of the Ottomans.  Haberturk used a beautiful picture about this subject matter.

ADNAN OKTAR:  Beautiful how? Well, let us see, why do we have to imagine? Yes, that is it.. Well, now Greece and Turkey will surely unite; but that will be realized by means of the system of the Mahdi. Otherwise, the anarchists of Greece and some other types would not embrace this unity. First love has to come about. Love, compassion, mercy have to come about. The love of Allah, love for human beings, animals and plants. One has to have love in his heart for everything that Allah creates. Now a guy with a shallow mindset may come up and say, "Let's unite with Turkey." Why might he say that? He says these for economic interests. He says "now that there is an economic crisis, I want to relief." [So he does so,] To find good food, to find entertainment.. Unity cannot be based on these factors. No way. A union can be established for Allah's good pleasure. A unity would bring abundance only if it stems from the love of Allah. Or else, with such a (false) union (based on selfish interests), may Allah forbid, they may ruin Turkey as well. A union is made with pure, sincere intentions; for Allah's good pleasure, to remember Allah, to feel the love for the servants of Allah and with the spirit of brotherhood, because it is the provision of the Qur'an and because we feel love for the manifestations of Allah. Otherwise you may unite but nothing good comes from that union. It is the system of the Mahdi that will ensure this union. It will inspire that divine love, that love of Allah into hearts, it [the system of the Mahdi] will be instrumental in that Insha'Allah.
