The true source of peace and happiness is the fear and love of Allah

ADNAN OKTAR: … people’s faces are pulled as long as a fiddle. In order to be happy, a person needs people who he trusts and loves and who do not tell lies , people who are afraid of Allah and who are genuine.If you note people are always alone, they do not have any friends.

INTERVIEWER: Yes

ADNAN OKTAR: For example, I sometimes talk to young people and ask them questions. I speak to girls and boys. I ask, for example, if he/she has someone he/she really trusts. He/she just says; “if I am to tell the truth I actuallydon’t have even a singleone I sincerely trust.” He/she says “I don’t have anyone that I trust” or “ I have one close girl-friend but I do not trust her at all.” But this is very important; a person must have intimate friends who he/she wholedheartedly trusts, whom he/she trusts as much as he/she trusts himself. A person can only then be happy. Otherwise, inevitably you will be in the company of liars continuously, whom you cannot trust. This is something like living in a room of Hell. Then, we see the faces of people living in a room of Hell, they can never be happy. For this reason, it is very important to live completely according to the moral teachings of the Qur’an. It is very important to wholedheartedly live by the love and fear of Allah. Then, true happiness will spread over all the world and human beings need this.

ADNAN OKTAR: Happiness comes from the love and fear of Allah. Without this the human heart cannot find peace. Allah has made this clear. (In the Qur’an), I take shelter in Allah from satan, Allah states that “hearts find peace only in the remembrance of Allah.”A person cannot be happy in any other way.

ADNAN OKTAR: Look, I will tell you the truth of the matter, so that no one would claim that I did not say it. The world will go through a total economic collapse. That is the capitalist system will collapse. All the large corporations all over the world will totally collapse. The world will suffer famine and distress. I am saying this earnestly and this is going on increasingly. . Turkey will experience the economic crisis as well but thanks be to Allah that this blessed country will come through it with thanksgiving (to Allah) and economising. With thanksgiving to Allah and economizing. On the other hand, it will destroy the entire world. The reason: lack of love and trust. When excitement, the love and fear of Allah abandon the human heart there is no meaning in life. Then such people would not have the desire to do anything, to expand somethings, build businesses or beautify their lives. They only strive not to die and try to stay alive. At the moment, since the lack of trust in Allah, lovelessness, egotism and selfishness had prevailed the world under the influence of Darwinist and materialistic system, the world is almost in paralysis. There is no escape from this, let me tell you. I mean no technical precaution that can be taken could ever save this. Let them print as much money as they want, let them shake the world as much as they want, the world is immersed in savage egotism and selfishness. This is an issue that can only be remedied by spirituality, by the fear and love of Allah, by love and the soul of a crazed lover. And the only cure for this is the Mahdi and the Prophet Jesus(as); there is no other salvation. Let them try and you will see! There is no other salvation. Insha’Allah.
