ADNAN OKTAR: For example, the accounts say there will be a radiance in Hazrat Mahdi's (as) clothing, and that he will radiate light. Now people imagine that when Hazrat Mahdi (as) comes he will literally emit light in the way the Moon does. The fact is that he will wear light-reflective clothing, bright clothing, that it will be made out of that kind of fabric.

We are told that the eyes of Hazrat Mahdi's (as) horse will shine. Its eyes will shine in the dark and radiate light.

PRESENTER: Yes.

ADNAN OKTAR: He says it is black and white, a reference to black and white cars and their headlights. The accounts say that Hazrat Mahdi (as) will lead the way, and that they will act as a convoy. Now people will immediately think of as in the films, in science fictions, of a horse with shining eyes radiating light, strange creatures like that. But that is not the case. Our Prophet (saas) reveals it ambiguously for people to understand but still to keep it concealed.

PRESENTER: In one hadith, Hazrat Mahdi's (as) clothes are described as like fire, and his face is sometimes light in color like bright gold, and sometimes darker in color like the Moon. Could you expound on that hadith, our viewers wonder?

ADNAN OKTAR: It means that Hazrat Mahdi (as) will wear bright clothes, spotless clothes. Many people today wear bright clothes. Your clothes are bright, and that is quite common. A real miracle, beautiful fabrics from shining fibers, has come about in the End Times. That is the kind of clothing Hazrat Mahdi (as) will wear. Hazrat Mahdi's (as) complexion will normally be of the Arab type, between red and white, but the hadith say it will sometimes become darker. It will probably become darker under the effect of the Sun, then from time to time it will grow paler again when he stays out of the Sun, that is what is referred to here, insha'Allah.
