ADNAN OKTAR: This is a miracle of the Qur’an. Almighty Allah says; “previous Ummah also prayed.” The Prophet Jesus (pbuh) and the prophet Moses (pbuh) both prayed (perfomed salat). We see that in every true faith there is prayer (salat) and maintained their faiths without them being corrupted for some time; but they were corrupted later. Their prayer can clearly be seen; there is the bowing and the prostration. In other words they perform it calling on the name of Allah, don’t they? It was obviously also present in the faith of the Prophet Abraham (pbuh). It has always been there. We see that the Islamic faiths are all the same. There may sometimes be a few differences. That is for Almighty Allah to appreciate. For example, there may be differences when it comes to the Friday prohibition, or to other instances of what is lawful or unlawful, but they are still the same faith in their main structure and have never changed, masha’Allah.

PRESENTER: Can we say that all faiths came down as Islam before they were corrupted?

ADNAN OKTAR: Of course. They are all Islam, without exception. Since the Prophet Adam (pbuh) they have all been. There may be very minor differences, in what is lawful and unlawful, or in the nature of the law, but they are all the same, under the one main roof.
