ADNAN OKTAR: Would there be any such thing as Guantanamo if there were Turkish-Islamic union?

ADNAN OKTAR: It is impossible. They would not even be able to visualize such a thing. It can’t even cross their minds. But since they have divided Muslims into fragments, you see some people passing for scholars, saying that “Islam will not rule for hundreds of years”, and that “Hazrat Mahdi (pbuh) will only come hundreds of years later”, or “he has come and gone and it is over and done with”, some say “he does not exist at all,” and there are many scholars who utterly refuse to speak of Islam ruling the world, there are many such people, and under those circumstances, of course the other side are crushing Muslims under their foot.

ADNAN OKTAR: Of course. If everyone were to support Islamic union, the Turkish-Islamic Union, to support unity and union, if it were just on their lips, if they would talk about this, then Islam would reign within a week. In one week. Look, people sitting at their home are to say,  “My friend, I do want Turkish-Islamic Union.” For instance the Cübbeli is to say; “Yes, I believe that Islam will rule the world in this century, in these days and months, that it is possible, and you must strive for that.” Also in other communities, if some students of the Light (Nur)  would say “yes, what Said Nursi said is true, Hazrat Mahdi (pbuh) will appear, Islam will rule the world, and what Said Nursi described as Islamic Union is true, it will be realized” if they would say “Said Nursi says “the soundest voice will be that of Islam” and his words are true, this will happen”, if everyone would say that in accord,  Islam would prevail within the week.

PRESENTER: First off, a great fear would enfold them.

ADNAN OKTAR: They can’t come to say that. I mean, a great many people cannot say this. A single world, even if it were uttered without believing in it, would be effective; even if it were uttered without believing in it. That would suffice. That’s all they are to say. For instance we come across people saying “Is it at all possible for Islam to rule henceforth, in the 21st century. Is this even possible?” And these are members of religious sects or communities. It is simply unbelievable. They just say; “the days of the system of the Mahdi and Islam have come and gone. The next thing is Doomsday. We are awaiting Doomsday.” And when will Doomsday happen? “In thousands of years’ time, who knows when?” they say.

PRESENTER: They just say; “This is how we will live.”

ADNAN OKTAR: Yes, they say, this is how the system is operating. People are being oppressed in Guantanamo. Afghanistan, Iraq and everywhere. People are still eating and drinking, getting up and lying down, in Guantanamo at least, while others are being directly tortured to death in Iraq and Afghanistan, being made to scream and are bombed to death there. This is far more acute. At least the people in the former are still alive. Or they are being martyred, may Allah forgive, Let me not say it like that. They are being martyred. Just imagine the kind of responsibility attaching to people under these conditions who refuse to speak of the global dominion of Islam. Even the mentioning of that would tremble the world.

PRESENTER: Of course. That would have been a highly effective weapon. Even the words... 

ADNAN OKTAR: It is unbelievable that they can’t bring themselves to say that. I mean, there are some communities, I do not want to name them here, but my friends are in contact with them, they possess no hope at all. I mean some of them.  What kind of Islam is that?

PRESENTER: They just want to live with one another as little communities.

ADNAN OKTAR: Of course. They have got married, had children, found jobs and the system is working very nicely. But now they are afraid they will have to work, that Hazrat Mahdi (pbuh) and Jesus (pbuh) will come and that the whole system will go wrong.

PRESENTER: Their comfort zone would be discomposed.

ADNAN OKTAR: Of course. They get together in the evenings, drink tea and talk. They talk about Said Nursi or about the life of some other scholar or else they read a passage from the Qur’an. And then they just begin to doze off; some fail to keep their heads up as they node off, though surely some of them are beyond that. Sleeping seems to be in fashion in some places, from what I see. They become overtaken by languor, in other words. How can this be acceptable? The world is drowning in blood, the whole world is crying out, violence and trouble had broken up. Under such circumstances, how can being in sloth or in such behavior be acceptable? And what is the harm in just saying those words? You are just to say;“Islam will rule the world.” Islam- will- rule- the world just five words, would your tongue fall off, if you said this. They are just to say   “It will rule in this century.” That is all. They just say ” Let’s see”, meaning it is a long way off. But they should say “in this century,”, “Islam will rule the world in this century.” Just eight words. It is essential to make them say that. If the whole Islamic world says it on the same day, then believe me, Islam will rule the world that week or month.

PRESENTER: Their individual palaces would collapse.

ADNAN OKTAR: The matter will be over with. It will make the whole world tremble. I mean, that really is a glorious thing.
