ADNAN OKTAR: Polytheism is ascribing equals to Allah. But this can manifest itself in the most unexpected ways. For example, if one says "I did something," that is polytheism. What he should say is “Allah did it by means of me.” Or if we received help from some quarter, we should say that Allah sent it. In other words, one must always be aware of Allah’s dominion over all things. Because a person watches an image inside the brain, and it is clear that Allah created it, is it not? Allah bestows colors, sounds, images, feeling of hunger and all the information concerning them. And since Allah does all things, all things should be explained in terms of Him. One should say Allah creates and does all things. Anything else is polytheism. But this is nothing complicated, it is really very easy to understand. For example, I am speaking now. Allah is causing me to speak. You are asking questions, and Allah is causing you to ask them. Someone who has once grasped this will thereafter quite naturally always act accordingly. He will do it very easily, in other words. It is very important to take that decision at first, and proper comprehension is very important.
