ADNAN OKTAR: Trench and Uhud. They were all defensive wars. The name Trench makes it quite clear. Our Prophet (saas) had a trench opened for defense. Muslims remained on this side of the trench, and a trench was set up in order to prevent the other side attacking. He [viewer who asked the question] would presumable defend himself if someone attacked his friend’s house. He would not say, “Come and kill me.” Would he? He would defend himself with all his might, to the utmost of his strength. What happened there was a defensive battle. Not one of aggression. I imagine that our friend looked at it superficially out of a lack of knowledge. Besides, the Crusades were a bloody slaughter of Muslims organized by the Knights Templars and freemasons.
PRESENTER: The Crusades?
ADNAN OKTAR: The Crusades, of course. They were organized by the Knights Templars. That is a heretical sect. A heretical sect in all regards and a classic masonic organization, and one that caused a great many Muslims to be martyred. And the Muslims were wronged there. That is why there are graves there, but Muslim graves.
TARKAN YAVAŞ: As you know better than us, when Jerusalem was recaptured Saladin Ayyubi did not harm any Christians or Jews there, insha’Allah.
ADNAN OKTAR: Of course, when Istanbul was captured, for instance, Christians and Jews were quite comfortable and they themselves even wanted Istanbul to be captured.
