CIHAT GUNDOGDU: "Do you make the giving of water to the pilgrims and looking after the Masjid al-Haram the same as having iman in Allah and the Last Day and doing jihad in the Way of Allah? They are not equal in the sight of Allah. Allah does not guide wrongdoing people."  

ADNAN OKTAR: Of course. For instance, they say they had a public drinking fountain erected somewhere. Or they had a mosque built somewhere. There are some Hajji Uncles like that. They say their consciences are very comfortable. they say they have performed their prayers as well. However Allah stresses on jihad, the intellectual struggle. All the prophets made jihad, the Companions made jihad, and the followers waged jihad. We must follow on their path, we must be like them. That is why religion must be spread around. The reason why religion does not yet rule the world is that jihad and striving have been eliminated. Religion would not rule when there is no jihad, and trouble and strife will befall people. Look, they live by accepting this trouble and contempt. Even if they had done it for the sake of their earthly interests, may Allah forbid, this would still be a great comfort for them. I mean first of all they will get rid of the pain, the oppression; confidence and social justice will come, joy will come and so will beauty. Well-being will come. They will be freed from pain. People are being terribly oppressed. They open their door and get shot. They are killing hundreds of Muslims. Mosques are being bombed. And still those Hajji Uncles are going about their own business. But they do not ask what is going on or say let us do something to stop it. It is the Turkish-Islamic Union that will give an end to it. It is Muslims loving, watching out for and protecting one another. They are just like those women gossiping around in the neighborhood. There are some women living in the neighborhood wasting time gossiping all day long. Like those, they sit about and waste time gossiping about Muslims. Go and occupy yourselves with good, auspicious works instead. Right? They spend their money on vain. If they have one house they have to have another, if they have one car they must have another. If their wives have 10 gold bracelets they must have another 5 to make it 15. If one arm is full they start on the other. Like a jeweler's shop. Gold by the kilo.

CIHAT GUNDOGDU: As you say, they do not like war to break out, they don't favor it. Allah has also revealed this in verse 81 of Surat at-Tawba; I seek refuge with Allah from the satan; "Those who were left behind were glad to stay behind the Messenger of Allah. They did not want to do jihad with their wealth and themselves in the Way of Allah. They said, 'Do not go out to fight in the heat.' Say: 'The Fire of Hell is much hotter, if they only understood'."

ADNAN OKTAR: Masha'Allah. Masha'Allah. But this of course means something for people whose faith is strong. If you tell that to someone whose faith is weak, he will listen to it slumbering. In other words, if one does not fear Allah one would not really affected by it. For that reason, for them to fear Allah, knowledge is required. And one needs signs leading to faith in order to have that knowledge. People's faith grows stronger the more you tell them about the signs leading to faith. And as their faith grows, so does their fear of Allah. When one's fear of Allah increases, the love of jihad and the desire to see the dominion of Allah's religion grow stronger. But I am saying this as a warning to those who imagine themselves to be on the true path. That is because they will be very surprised in the Hereafter. There is a verse about that, in which Allah states; "while they suppose that they are doing good." Allah does not accept that, insha'Allah.
