PRESENTER: "Good day. Would you please explain us the subject of Allah being everywhere?"

ADNAN OKTAR: Some people fail to fully understand this. I did not realize there was such a problem in the Muslim world. I only learned it later. They insist on believing that Allah is somewhere in the sky - Allah is beyond that - in a particular place. It is unbelievable how they believe such a thing. It is incomprehensible. In other words, they ascribe a specific location to Allah. They say that Almighty Allah is somewhere in the sky. And He watches us from there, from afar. They say Allah is far off. Look, Allah says in one verse, a verse containing clear judgment; "I am nearer to you than your jugular vein." And where is the jugular vein? It is inside us. He says He is even closer than that. What does that mean? It means Allah is everywhere.

PRESENTER: Yes, they even look upward to pray. As if they are having a dialogue with Allah.

ADNAN OKTAR: Of course, they showed me a hadith about Allah being in the sky. They said there was a girl. Rasulullah (saas) asked her, "Where is Allah?" She replied, "In the sky." And our Prophet (saas) did not argue. They say that hadith is evidence. It is true, Allah is in the sky. Everywhere, He is on Mercury, Venus, Uranus, Pluto, the North Pole of Venus, the South Pole, the Equator and on right and left. Therefore, if someone raising his hands to the skies if he is anywhere in the atmosphere; raising his hands to pray in the Moon, Mercury, Venus or Pluto, in every location of them, from their north or south poles or their Equator; if everyone raises their hands to the sky, doesn't this mean everywhere. They fail to grasp that. They could only devise it for the first time, when I said so. It had not occurred to them before. They think of the sky in reference to the place where they are. They say they exist, in a particular place, and the sky is above them. They have no longer said that since I spoke about it. There was an intense opposition on the subject on the internet. True, I said, that is right. We raise our hands to the skies. But do people at the North Pole not raise their hands, too? People who go to the South Pole, or to New Guinea, Bassau in Africa or Thailand, everywhere, they all raise their hands to the sky. What does that mean? It means globally, every direction. Since the angels everywhere in the universe also raise their hands to the skies, since the djinn raise their hands to the sky, Allah is everywhere. Almighty Allah is everywhere, therefore. Nowhere is without Allah. He is Lord of all things and all places.
