From Adnan Oktar’s interview on TV Kayseri, on March 24, 2010
ADNAN OKTAR: Also, there are several miracles our Prophet (saas) has revealed about the future. For example: "Abu Sufyan was sitting by one edge of the mosque. One day, Rasulullah (saas) wrapped himself in his robe and left the house. Abu Sufyan was wondering from where he was sitting: 'I wonder what he defeated me with?' Rasulullah (saas) approached Abu Sufyan and struck him on the back, saying 'I defeated you with Allah.'" Look, the man was wondering to himself, internally. Then the Prophet (saas) told him that. "Abu Sufyan said: 'I bear witness that you are the Messenger of Allah.'" This is a miracle. It is knowledge of the Unseen.
PRESENTER 1: He [the Prophet (saas)] is replying to what he [Abu Sufyan] was wondering to himself.
ADNAN OKTAR: Of course, the Prophet (saas) said it the moment he thought about it. "I came to Rasulullah (saas). My intention was to leave nothing unasked about goodness and sin. There was a group of Muslims around him." The Companions had surrounded the Prophet (saas). "They kept asking him for fatwas." The Companions were always learning things. "I wanted to approach them. 'Stay away from the Messenger of Allah, O Wabisa,' they said. I answered; 'Let me draw close to him. He is the most delightful of the people I wish to be close to.' Our Prophet (saas) said: 'Leave Wabisa alone. Two or three times he told me "Approach, Wabisa." I eventually approached him and sat down. He said to me: 'O Wabisa. Shall I tell you, or will you ask me?" says the Prophet (saas), Masha'Allah. "'You tell me' I said. He said: 'You came to ask about goodness and sin, didn't you?' 'Yes, I said'" he says. See that he knew what he was thinking to himself. "At this he put the tips of his fingers together and striking me on the chest with them," in other words, striking his chest in jest, he said, "'O Wabisa, consult your heart, consult yourself.'" In other words, our Prophet (saas) told him to consult his conscience "Good is what eases your own heart whether they give you a fatwa or not." In other words, he said he must act according to his own conscience. Our Prophet (saas) says that Allah will inspire him with the truth. "And sin is what makes the heart uneasy, what travels through the breast." In other words, you experience the unease and discomfort stemming from sin in your conscience, says the Prophet (saas).
This is an instance when Allah reveals the Unseen. As to the knowledge of hidden things in the Qur'an, in verses 2 to 5 of Surat Ar-Rum: "The Romans have been defeated in the lowest land , “adna al-ardh” but after their defeat they will themselves be victorious in a few years' time, in 3-9 years’ time. The affair is Allah's from beginning to end. On that day, the muminun will rejoice in Allah's help. These verses were revealed in 620 AD, approximately 7 years after the Christian Byzantines suffered a heavy defeat at the hands of the Persians. The Byzantines suffered huge losses. These verses say that the Byzantines would be victorious in another 9 years. See that Almighty Allah informs that Byzantine will be victorious again. In 622, 9 years after that defeat, Heraclius won several victories over the Persians, capturing Armenia, it says in the explanation of the verse.
In the same way, verse 3 of Surat Ar-Rum states that the Romans will be defeated in the lowest land of the Earth. This term, " adna al-ardh" in Arabic, refers to the basin of Lake Lut, the lowest place on Earth and the exact site where the Byzantines were defeated. Allah informs of the "lowest land," and to a period of 3 to 9 years. He says the Byzantine will themselves definitely be victorious in a few years' time. This is news of the Unseen. They ask how the Unseen can be known. By revelation. If Allah reveals them, they become known. The Prophet (saas) speaks of the future. How is he informed? Allah gives that knowledge through revelation. The Prophet (saas) receives this information through the revelation of the Qur'an. And as a commandment of Allah.
PRESENTER 1: The Prophet of Allah (saas) revealing hidden things is not particularly extraordinary. It should not be that hard to believe.
