ADNAN OKTAR: I seek refuge in Allah from satan. "Say: 'No one in the heavens and the earth knows the Unseen except Allah." "The keys of the Unseen are in His possession. No one knows them but Him." We read in verse 59 of Surat al-An'am. The other verse I read was verse 65 of Surat al-Naml. But look now, they are giving only one-sided information and they say, "Allah knows the Unseen and nobody has knowledge of it." Yes, that is true. But there is also another detail set out in the Qur'an.
In verses 26 and 27 of Surat al-Jinn, Allah informs us: "He is the Knower of the Unseen." In other words, Allah knows the Unseen. "And does not divulge His Unseen to anyone–except a Messenger with whom He is well pleased." So Allah reveals the Unseen to His Messengers, doesn't he?
PRESENTER: Yes, He does.
ADNAN OKTAR: So, they need to end making this matter immutable by saying, "the Unseen cannot be known." The Unseen can be known, but how? Allah reveals them to His Messengers, and if they then tell us, we can know them.
"Allah has not given you access to the Unseen." In other words, He will not inform you of the Unseen. "But Allah chooses those of His Messengers whom He wills. So believe in Allah and His Messengers. If you believe and fear [and respect] Allah you will have an immense reward." (Surat al-'Imran, 179)
"This is news from the Unseen which We reveal to you", says in verse 44 of Surah al-'Imran.
Again, in verse 49 of Surah Hud, "That is some of the news of the Unseen which We reveal to you." Allah says He is always revealing the Unseen. Do you see? Neither you nor your people knew it before this time. “I reveal the unseen to you” says Almighty Allah.
For example, in verse 102 of Surah Yusuf, Allah informs, "This is news of the Unseen which We reveal to you." Almighty Allah reveals the Unseen.
In verse 6 of Surat as-Saff, the Prophet Jesus (pbuh) says he is a Messenger and is "giving you the good news of a Messenger after me whose name is Ahmad." Is this not news of the Unseen? He gives news of the future.
For instance, the Prophet Jesus (pbuh) says: "I will tell you what you eat and what you store up in your homes." (Surah Al 'Imran, 49) See that he says he will reveal hidden things about the man in whose house he eats and what he has saved. He says he will impart these tidings through revelation.
For example, in verse 37 of Surah Yusuf, the Prophet Joseph (pbuh) says, "No meal to feed you will arrive before I have informed you what they mean." In other words, he says he knows what the food is, and that he will inform them what they mean before they arrive, through Allah's revelation. What does this mean? It means that the Unseen is known when Allah reveals it. In other words, there is no definite command as it is not known.
PRESENTER 2: Does He only reveal things to the Prophets? I mean, may Allah reveal the Unseen to His Guides or ordinary people that He wants them to know in the End Times? He will reveal things if He wishes.
ADNAN OKTAR: Look, this is in a verse. Let us read it. "He is the Knower of the Unseen, and does not divulge His Unseen to anyone. Except" says Allah, and He cites an exception; "a Messenger with whom He is well pleased ." (Surah Al Jinn, 26-27) Allah reveals to whoever He regards as a Messenger. This means, it may be people we do not know. For instance, there are the Prophets of the past. He may be a Messenger but we do not know about it, and Allah reveals to him. But it is clear, straightforward that our Prophet (saas) is a Messenger and Allah revealed all the future happenings of the End Times to him.
PRESENTER 1: For instance, Almighty Allah bestowed the attribute of being unrestricted by time on the Khidr (as), didn't he?
ADNAN OKTAR: Yes, he also knows. Whoever Allah regards as a Messenger in His Sight. For example, Khidr (as) was a Guide, but Allah regarded him as a Messenger and revealed the Unseen to him. In other words, the bounds of the statement there is broad, insha'Allah. For example, Allah makes revelation to the mother of the Prophet Moses (pbuh), and she was not a Prophet, insha'Allah.
ADNAN OKTAR: Yes, see; Allah alone will reveal it at its proper time. "It hangs heavy in the heavens and the earth." This means the signs have begun. Its being heavy in the heavens and the earth indicates that the portents have started. "Knowledge of it rests with my Lord alone." Knowledge of the Unseen lies with Allah, but see how we just read in another verse. Allah informs us He reveals the Unseen to His Messengers with who He wills. Allah reveals hidden things, and He gives us numerous evidence to that effect in the Qur'an. Allah revealed the Unseen to the Prophets, and they have provided the knowledge of hidden things. There are many verses of such instances in the Qur'an to that effect. This means that the unknown nature of the Unseen is done away with when Allah reveals them. In other words, when Allah reveals that knowledge, then it becomes legitimate information. Other than this, if one says 'he knows the Unseen', that is going profane insha'Allah
