ADNAN OKTAR: … “and a caller to Allah by His permission and a light-giving lamp.” (Surat al-Azhab, 46) He says He has sent us a lamp. Look, “…a caller to Allah by His permission…” And what are we doing? We are calling people to Allah. We are spreading the light. We are spreading the laws of the Qur’an, the moral values of the Qur’an, and telling people of the existence and oneness of Allah. We are telling people of love and fear of Allah, and telling them to be one another’s friends and brothers. “A light-giving lamp.” Muslims are shedding light all around. The times when there were no Muslims have always been very dark ones.

They refer to Darwin’s time as enlightenment. Fine, but their illumination was all done by the light of bombs exploding. They illuminated Nagasaki as bright as day with the atom bomb, didn’t they? They illuminated Hiroshima as bright as day with the atom bomb. They illuminated German cities, Poland and all those Islamic countries with their bombs and tracer bullets. With their burning weapons, the kind the Americans made. They shot flames out, 100 or 200 meters and burned people alive. That was their enlightenment, and that enlightenment cost the lives of 350 million people. They crippled 1 billion people, ruined tens of thousands of cities, towns and villages and abandoned people to starve and destroyed works of art and culture. And all because of Darwinism.

Darwinism lies at the root of fascism and communism. Stalin, Lenin, Hitler and Mussolini said as such themselves. When asked they said they drew their ideas from Darwin. That is your age of enlightenment. Look, Almighty Allah says He has sent, “a caller to Allah by His permission and a light-giving lamp.” Islam enlightens people, and do you know what happens when they are enlightened? Guns fall silent, weapons are done away with, no blood is shed, and there is peace, and people love and trust one another, and there are no cameras keeping watch on them, there are no security personnel keeping tabs on everyone, the prisons are not overflowing and the prisons and the courts will be empty, insha’Allah. They are full at the moment. There are hundreds of thousands of cases in Turkey, and there is not a single man who is not facing charges of some kind. Everyone complains about everyone else, and the courts and jail are full to overflowing. All these will come to an end.
