ADNAN OKTAR’S KANAL 5 (GAZIANTEP) INTERVIEW (20 SEPTEMBER 2008) 

ADNAN OKTAR:Let us join the European Union with splendor and glory. As the leader of the Turkish-Islamic Union. Otherwise it would be unbecoming for the Turkish nation to join the EU and ask them for money and jobs. It would be unbecoming for us to ask them to save us. We will go to save them. We will give them money and economic opportunities, and we will join as a leader. We will offer them all the strength and wealth of Asia and all Islamic countries. We will also offer them technical opportunities. We will serve as a bridge. That is what I am saying. Otherwise, I am an admirer of European art, science and culture. Of course I like its culture and art. I like its architecture. I have a huge respect for it in those terms. I like its democracy, and its conception of freedom. Let them be even freer and more democratic. And I want Turkey to fully adopt European democracy, and to go even further. In that sense, of course I want us to join the EU.

ADNAN OKTAR: In fact, the EU will join us. When we join the Turkish-Islamic Union, when we embrace the Turkish-Islamic Union and when this splendid institution is established, the Turkish-Islamic Union will not join the EU, it will rather absorb the EU into its own body. We will therefore be united as one. But of course we love the people of Europe, we feel compassion for them. We like their art and science and conception of beauty. They are polite, virtuous and moral people. We will save them, they are not the ones who will save us, insha’Allah.

Turkey is a great state. They should ask Turkey to join the EU; even in a sense, they should be begging us to join the EU. Because it is Turkey that will save them and make them rich. It is Turkey’s dynamic force, its dynamic youth and underground resources of the Turkic states, and their minerals and petrol, natural gas. And the entire capital and petrol of the Islamic world are out there at the moment. But it is Turkey that will be managing all these. Turkey will be the leader and older brother. It will be a channel for Europe, which is heading toward extinction. Turkey is the blood, the plasma, that will resuscitate Europe. It is Europe’s most urgent need...
 

ADNAN OKTAR’S LIVE INTERVIEW ON EKIN TV (2 FEBRUARY 2009) 

Adnan Oktar: Look, there is a saying that nobody likes a poor person. That is especially the case with Europeans. They really like wealthy types.  When they see a wealthy Turkey, the leader of the Turkish-Islamic Union, in front of them, they will beg it. They will go to Turkey, not ask Turkey to join it. That is, they will show courtesy and join us. And we will thus have joined the EU. But if we say our material means are weak, if we ask the EU to take us in, to strengthen us and invigorate our economy, to bring us law and justice, and generally to save us, the Europe will turn us away. But if we say we are strong and powerful, the leader of the mighty Turkish-Islamic Union, and we have oil and mineral resources, we are a super state, come and let us make you rich, you join us and we will join you, then they will come running. You know there is such kind of a rule while visiting someone’s house.  The younger one visits the older one. Similarly they will come to Turkey’s home and then we will unite together. I like all Europeans, let me state that. Italy, France, Norway, Denmark and the rest are all civilized states. All excellent places.
