ADNAN OKTAR'S LIVE INTERVIEW ON KANAL 35 TV (18 January 2009)

ADNAN OKTAR: Our Prophet (saas) speaks of certain phenomena. These have almost all come about in the space of just 30 years. If any ordinary person had said this it would have rocked the world. Great things would have happened. But he said these things 1400 years ago, making it a truly significant phenomenon. But everything our Prophet (saas) said has come about. For instance, he says there will be two eclipses of the Sun in Ramadan at the coming of Hazrat Mahdi (as). In the year of his coming, he says. And there were both lunar and solar eclipses in 1981 and 1982 during the month of Ramadan.

PRESENTER: At 14-15-day intervals, is that not correct?

ADNAN OKTAR: Yes. He said there would be war between Iran and Iraq.And that happened in October, 1980. He said that Afghanistan would be occupied, and that happened in 1979. He says that the waters of the Euphrates will be stopped, that blood will flow in the same region, and that has also happened. The waters were stopped with a dam, and, as you know, anarchy broke out in the region. He says there will be eclipses of the Sun and Moon in Ramadan. And in 1981 the Moon was eclipsed on the 15th day of Ramadan and the Sun on the 29th day. In 1982 the Moon was eclipsed on the 14th day of Ramadan and the Sun on the 28th day. Our Prophet (saas) says a comet will appear in the same period. And that happened right after, in 1986. Our Prophet (saas) says there will be an attack on the Kaaba in the year when Hazrat Mahdi (as) comes, and that blood will flow from the Kaaba. And 402 people were killed during the massacre in 1979. The Hijri year 1400 is the year of the coming of Hazrat Mahdi (as). Our Prophet (saas) says a sign will appear in the Sun. And there was a huge solar explosion in 1996, the greatest sunburst of the last century. He says an army will vanish in the desert, and the Iraqi Army disappeared in 2003, during the Iraq War. The Prophet (saas) says that Baghdad will be ruined by fire, and that also happened during the Iraq War in 2003. He says that Iraq will be reconstructed, that its buildings will be re-erected, and that has also come about. He says that the Iraqi unit of currency will be abolished, and that also happened. Our Prophet (saas) refers to a corruption of smoke and dust at the same time. And that happened on September 11, 2001. He says there will be hurricanes and tornados in that period, and we had Hurricane Katrina in 2005 and Hurricane Ike in 2008. The Prophet (saas) especially refers to the technological equipment and features of the time. He says people will be able to see and speak to one another from great distances. He says people will speak to one another through the tip of a whip. That is a reference to the telephone and its cables and antennae. He says people's own voices will speak, a reference to tapes and videos. He describes just about all the technological devices of that age. He says that there will be agriculture with no oxen or ploughs, using technical equipment. If anyone else had said these things, it would have been something really major, but it may have escaped people's notice. 

ADNAN OKTAR'S AL-QUDS (JERUSALEM) NEWSPAPER INTERVIEW (November 2008)

ADNAN OKTAR: Our Prophet (saas) referred to that in the hadith. He stated in great detail that there would be an economic crisis in the time of Hazrat Mahdi (as), that it would involve the whole world, and even that rainfall would decline. He told the decline of the rainfall in great detail. Following that, he said, he stated that the cost of living would rise and there would be widespread lack of productivity. Our Prophet (saas) even says that people in the markets will complain that they were unable to make any money, to earn any money, today. And since this is also a portent of the coming of Hazrat Mahdi (as), it is also for the best.

ADNAN OKTAR: The economic crisis is metaphysical. Everyone, all the economists, scientists, industrialists, capitalists and the like is struggling with it but they are unable to stop it, and they will be unable to stop it, and it will bring the entire system down. In other words, you will see all the major companies in the world collapse, one by one. And this will go on for 7 years, which is no little length of time. Seven years. There will be famine in many countries, he says, and indicates that great importance will be attached to storing wheat and raising livestock. As you know, the Prophet Yusuf (as) was in charge of the country at that time. He said there would be a famine lasting 7 years. He recommended that wheat be stored as a precaution, and stocks of wheat were duly established. And in the same verse, he also stresses the importance of raising livestock. Things happened just as the Prophet Yusuf (as) said they would. And the great famine lasted for 7 years. The same thing is happening again now.

The crisis started in 2007. And the law of Allah is that it will go on until 2014, Allah knows the truth. And the crisis will persist until the whole global system collapses. And the system will oblige people to see the power of Allah.

IMF made a declaration about this issue, stating that the crisis would continue until 2014. That is true, till the end of 2013 there will be a deceleration; not 2011 but towards the end of 2013. A gradual recovery will begin. But it will openly begin in 2014. Therefore I do not see the deceleration in 2013 as an important one. It will be a very weak deceleration. But beginning from 2014 there will be a definite, certain economic recovery. Everyone will see this insha'Allah.

ADNAN OKTAR: Look, the dams are currently full to overflowing. It keeps on raining. We are told there will be plentiful rainfall in the time of Hazrat Mahdi (as). The rain will initially come to a halt, will stop in the early days of the coming of Hazrat Mahdi (as), and then will become more plentiful again, we are told. We have seen both. Both have happened. And Said Nursi says there will be an economic crisis. That also appears in the hadith, that it will happen in the time of Hazrat Mahdi (as). And so it has. The economic crisis is a portent of the coming of Hazrat Mahdi (as), in other words. These things will all happen one after the other, as a result of which those who do not understand will have to grasp their significance, and there will be no alternative. 

ADNAN OKTAR'S INTERVIEW ON KANAL 67 ZONGULDAK TV (22 March 2009)

ADNAN OKTAR: He says a comet will appear at the same time. But he also speaks of a second comet, and that appeared in 2009. The Prophet (saas) says that this second comet will be in the shape of a crescent, a shape never before seen in a comet. The comet Lulin, and let me show you a picture if there is one here, or I can show you later.

PRESENTER: Yes.

ADNAN OKTAR: There is a feature to this comet. All other comets travel from east to west, but this moves from west to east. Our Prophet (saas) says that this comet will travel from west to east. And that it will have two horns. And the comet is indeed double-horned.

PRESENTER: Just as it is written.

ADNAN OKTAR: And he says it is bright, that it sheds light. It is six times brighter than other comets. It shines very brightly and is green in color.

PRESENTER: Yes.

ADNAN OKTAR: And this is a portent of the coming of Hazrat Mahdi (as). There are so many portents of his coming, and they have all come about. For example, our Prophet (saas) says there will be an attack at the Kaaba. Blood will flow that year, he says. And this has happened. There will be great fire and smoke, he says. As you know, one of the world's largest tankers caught fire in Istanbul, resulting in stupendous flames and smoke. He says it will kill some people and waken the sleeper. The newspapers covered it, saying that people asleep leapt up in the air. The accounts say that people will imagine that night was day, look how the Prophet (saas) supplies such detail, and that also happened. That is the time we are in now, and in that period, he says, there will be an economic crisis. Look, the economic crisis has begun. He does not actually say crisis, but he refers to shortages, economic shortages, high costs of living and scarcity in the economy.He even says how people will complain in the markets, how they will say they have been unable to earn any money that day. First, he says, the rains will cease, and then they will start up all over again, which we have seen happen. First they said that the rains had stopped, because of global warming, but now the reservoirs are all full again, so they have to open the gates, and these hadith are all coming true.

Another sign is the comet I just spoke about. Accounts say it is like a horn. From both sides it really looks like a cattle head. And it is green and travels from west to east. Imam Rabbani knew this, centuries ago. Science has only recently discovered it. It discovered it in 2009, and it was the first time we encountered such a phenomenon. It is related with all its details. Scientists first said it was flat. Then they say it assumed this angle. There is no such cavity on the front of a comet. In other words, this is a most peculiar phenomenon, not something regularly encountered, but very different. And it travels from west to east. This is also a portent of the coming of Hazrat Mahdi (as). Imam Rabbani speaks of this in his Letters. Let them look it up in Imam Rabbani's Letters. He's the mujaddid (reviver) of the millennium. They will see this, and it is a great marvel. It is also a miracle of our Prophet (saas). Our Prophet (saas) has died but his miracles continue. He described this 1400 years ago. But science has only just realized it. 

ADNAN OKTAR'S LIVE INTERVIEW ON VATAN TV (15 March 2009)

ADNAN OKTAR: We are told there will be great smoke and fire when Hazrat Mahdi (as) first appears. As you know, there was a huge tanker explosion in 1979. There was a huge pillar of smoke. And there was a thick layer of smoke many kilometers long that stretched towards the Bosporus. The hadith also say that the noise of it will wake sleeping people up, and the newspapers reported exactly that. Another account gives further details, saying that people will think that night is day, and we again saw exactly that in the papers, from the force of the explosion. And the accounts say these explosions will go on for days, and they did indeed continue for days. Then he says that this fire is today in underground, as petrol, and that is highly significant, in other words our Prophet (saas) says it is somewhere around Arabia. He says it is underground in the form of oil, and that when the time comes it will be brought to the surface, and this was indeed one of the largest oil tankers in the world. It emerged with a huge explosion. And our Prophet (saas) says that many people will die, and many people did lose their lives through the force of the explosion. This was a portent of the coming of Hazrat Mahdi (as). Surat ad-Dukhan of the Qur'an refers to this incident, speaking of the coming of smoke.

For instance the hadith also say that Azerbaijan will be invaded and in the time of Hazrat Mahdi (as) blood will be shed there. As you know Azerbaijan is also invaded and Karabakh was captured. With the encouragement of freemasons and atheist-zionists some Armenian troops attacked the region, you know. Enormous blood-shed and massacre occurred. Our Prophet (saas) told this in details.

ADNAN OKTAR: The abolition of caliphate is also a portent of Hazrat Mahdi's (as) coming. That is, it is also a miracle Allah created to lay the ground for Hazrat Mahdi (as). That is, it is an extraordinary incident. It is prepared merely for the appearance of Hazrat Mahdi (as) because Hazrat Mahdi (as) could not have appeared when there was the caliphate. They would execute him. That is, his appearance would be impossible. For this reason Allah abolished caliphate and laid the groundwork [for Hazrat Mahdi (as).] 

ADNAN OKTAR'S LIVE INTERVIEW ON CAY TV (4 March 2009)

ADNAN OKTAR: Our Prophet (saas) says that Doomsday will not happen until one speaks with the heel of his shoe, and he says in summary that this is a portent of Hazrat Mahdi (as). Phones in shape of shoes have now been made. That is just what our Prophet (saas) refers to. He says that Doomsday will not happen until people speak with the heels of their shoes, and we are told that this will come about in the time of Hazrat Mahdi (as). It has happened just like that, and people can pick up their phones with earphones just like shoes and speak using them.  

ADNAN OKTAR'S LIVE INTERVIEW ON KRAL KARADENIZ TV (12 April 2009)

ADNAN OKTAR: Rome will also be captured insha'Allah. With the takbir, that is it will be captured with the remembrance of Allah. It is also an important city, there are also very important relics there insha'Allah. Vatican also, as you know. Likewise Rome. Rome will be Muslims all over. This is also made clear in the hadith.

Rome also will be captured with the takbir in the time of Hazrat Mahdi (as). Our Prophet (saas) refers to this in the hadith. There will be an earthquake and it will be torn down. That may be the earthquake in question. Because it happened once in 1980. That is the date of Hazrat Mahdi's (as) appearance. And it happened now, in 2009 and in Rome. That is the earthquake in question The epicenter is the church. There is, of course, a goodness also in this. It will be instrumental in making them see the righteousness, the truth more. It will open the hearts of people there. It will be instrumental in making people have more affection for Allah. And indeed this has been the case. It endowed them a spirit that would draw them close to Allah with love. There was again a ceremony today, a ceremony in which the Pope participated. If I am not mistaken it was broadcasted live. I do not know it was a live broadcast or a repeat. These are very meaningful. Rome is a city in which devout people are dense, a city populated with devout Christians.

Earthquakes, ordeals increase one's love of Allah. It adds affection. So we see this effect in them and insha'Allah it will lead to goodness. 

ADNAN OKTAR'S LIVE INTERVIEW ON KOCAELI TV AND KAÇKAR TV (30 April 2009)

ADNAN OKTAR: For instance, these portents that have appeared; AIDS has always been a great fitnah in the End Times. It appeared for the first time in the world. AIDS is one of the disasters of the time of Hazrat Mahdi (as). So does this swine flu, for instance. Growing more effective at times and diminishing at others, it will become a great threat for the entire world. As a result of swine flu no swine will be left on the world. This is a feature of the time of Hazrat Mahdi (as). For instance in Egypt they have begun killing swine. As a precaution, they have killed hundreds of thousands of swine. This incident is going on in accord with the hadith.  

ADNAN OKTAR'S LIVE INTERVIEW ON EKINTÜRK TV  (27 April 2009)

ADNAN OKTAR: Another sign is the appearance of irreligious religious scholars. The man speaks very explicitly. He says it out in the open. He says there is no Paradise, there is no Hell. There is no destiny. Soon he will also say, Allah forbid, Allah does not exist. He will say it so some time later. Look, I am telling this right now. Some time later he will also say, Allah does not exist and being people who teach religion to people, the government pays them salaries. This is very striking. He does not believe in Allah, does not believe in Paradise and Hell and the prophets but earn salaries because it is their duty. Whereas they are charged with communicating the religion, they act as if their duty is to spread irreligion and they tell irreligion. And they are paid for this. This is a very abnormal situation. Hazrat Mahdi (as) will also struggle with them but none of them will be able to cope with Hazrat Mahdi (as). That is, Hazrat Mahdi (as) can not be stopped. With his opinion, attitude and style, he is a very amiable person, he is a very compassionate person. Our Prophet (saas) says that he will not shed any blood and awaken a sleeper.

ADNAN OKTAR: One account even says that Hazrat Mahdi (as) will reign over the Jews with the original Torah and over the Christians with the original Gospels, and that he will call them to the true path, and that a great community from among them will attach themselves to him. It even says that he will find the Ark of the Covenant and the Sacred Relics, for which reason a great many Jews will come to believe and follow Hazrat Mahdi (as). 

ADNAN OKTAR'S LIVE INTERVIEW ON KOCAELI TV AND KRAL KARADENIZ TV (7 May 2009)

ADNAN OKTAR: It is stated that in the End Times an image resembling a human hand will appear in space and this is one of the portents of the coming of Hazrat Mahdi (as). Asma binti Umays related: "THE PORTENT OF THE COMING OF HAZRAT MAHDI (AS) IS A HAND EXTENDED FROM SKY AT WHICH PEOPLE STARE." It is stated in the hadith that something resembling a hand will appear in space. This is stated in Hadith from the Collection of Jalaladdin Suyuti, page. 69.

"… AT THAT TIME, IN THE TIME OF HAZRAT MAHDI'S (AS) COMING, A HAND MAKING ITSELF EVIDENT FROM SKY APPEARS…"

This is also stated in other hadith. An image made by Chandra X-ray Observatory (NASA) a pulsar in the shape of a hand is seen as if to grasp another pulsar. Indeed it is seen as if it grasps something of a coal. I will show it in a moment. The phrase of hand stated in the hadith refers to an image NASA calls God's hand, it is an image caused by a celestial event. Of course Allah knows the truth. Let me show this photograph. This is the photograph of a very big pulsar taken by NASA.

 As you see it is seen as if a hand in space grasped something of a coal and clenched it with its fingers. In the photograph taken by Chandra X-ray Observatory of NASA is seen as if a pulsar grasps another pulsar. The hand referred to in hadith is the picture of a celestial event referred by NASA as God's Hand. Yes, we can see it very clearly right now. Yet, of course, its diameter is very very very great. It is made up of pulsar. It is a very big object.
