From Mr. Adnan Oktar’s live interview on Kanal 35 TV on February-21, 2010
ADNAN OKTAR: But what Muslims must do now, the important thing, is this. For one thing, there are few Muslims in the world. There are some 7 billion people in the world, of whom 1.5 billion are Muslims. 1.5 billion is a small number. The majority of these are divided into different schools. The great majority are divided. And the schools are sub-divided into sects and other communities. And some are opposed to others. That being the case, Islamic moral values do not rule the world. The only thing needed for them to rule the world is for that division to be eliminated. Look, there is a verse in which Allah says that they have divided the religion among themselves into tiny parts. And our Prophet (May Allah bless him and grant him peace) laments, saying that his Community has abandoned the Qur’an. He has one complaint, that they have left the Prophet (saas) abandoned. This verse at the same time refers to Hazrat Mahdi (as). The Qur’an will also be abandoned in the time of Hazrat Mahdi (as). That is why the verse refers to him. For one thing, Muslims must stand against the hatred and anger that stem from sectarian divisions. This is not a holy thing; it is not a holy thing to harbor enmity toward Shiites or other sects. This means division. It means the fragmentation of Muslims. Muslims must embrace and love one another. It is also utterly irrational to oppress Christians and Jews, to exclude them, call them unbelievers and regard them as people to be disparaged. If we want to win them over, if we want them to become Muslims and if we want Islam to rule the world, we must treat them all with affection. We must protect and watch over them all, with affection. That kind of approach is unacceptable. But some people call Shiites unbelievers and want them to be killed. They want them to be sliced up like carrots. Azerbaijan, for example, is entirely Shiite. I say they are very dear to us and we must unite with them. So why all this talk about killing them? Statements of this kind are disgraceful. You hear people saying they are Sunni scholars but who have set up a system that tears Islam apart from the inside. This is paralyzing system established by freemasonry. There is a community consisting of 100 people, for example. They first divide these people 50 – 50, saying they are one another’s enemies. These people then agree that they are one another’s enemies. They divide these 50 people into two groups of 25 each. They then tell them they are one another’s enemies. These people go to the coffee house and stir them up, saying it is a holy duty for them to be hostile to and attack one another. And it is very easy to lead them. Look, the other day I said how Bediüzzaman describes it very clearly. “The dajjal will rule the world by taking advantage of people’s greed and divisions.” “Using very little force,” he adds. Taking advantage of their enmity. Some Sunnis regard it as a holy matter to harbor hatred of Shiites, Wahabbists, Bektashis or Alawites. But the fact is that the Nakshi, Kaditi or Nur sects, and the followers of Sulayman are all based on love and affection. Aren’t they? We must have love and win people over. And not exclude them.
ADNAN OKTAR: Look, Hazrat Mahdi’s (as) strength stems from the fact he is inclusive. If he were divisive, then according to their beliefs they would have a different Mahdi. And with such a Mahdi, Islamic morals would never rule the world until the Day of Judgment.
ALTUĞ BERKER: Bediüzzaman says something about it. May I read it out, with your permission? In reference to Hazrat Mahdi (as) he says, “Of course He will send the the greatest restorer of the faith, and the greatest mujaddid (reviver), a luminous individual who is also a judge, a Mahdi, a qutb-u azam, that is the greatest saint of the century, in the days of the worst corruption of the End Times, and that person will be from the Ahl al-Bayt.” In other words, he will be descended from our Prophet (saas). Bediüzzaman says he will be the greatest mujaddid, and the muctahid, greatest restorer of the faith, meaning he will struggle to restore to its original form.
ADNAN OKTAR: The reason why he is the greatest reviver and restorer of the faith is that he is the leader of the greatest school. In other words, he is superior to the founders of the Hanafi, Hanbali, Maliqi and Sha’afi schools. For that reason, all the schools will be eliminated in his time. People will follow his school alone. And the Sunni ulema will be agreed on this and it will be as in the time of our Prophet (saas). The time of Hazrat Mahdi (as) will be just like the Age of Felicity.
