PRESENTER: Has Hazrat Khidr (pbuh) existed since the beginning of the world?

ADNAN OKTAR: Yes, of course. In other words, Hazrat Khidr (pbuh) is a human being, but he is also like an angel. It is very remarkable. He can assume spirit form momentarily, and then can become a human being all of a sudden. And that depends on his volition. But it was not the Prophet Jesus (pbuh)' desire, for instance that Allah raised his soul to the sky. The Prophet Jesus (pbuh) assumed spirit form in a moment. In talking about spirit, I say that because he passed to another realm, but he did so in the same physical form. He passed to that other realm wearing the same clothes and shoes and in the same physical body. And he is now living, alive, at this moment. And he is brought from that dimension to the worldly dimension by Allah in an instance. It is the same with Hazrat Khidr (pbuh). For instance, he leaves or returns to the dimension of this world in a moment. It is the same with the angels, also. They enter the dimension of this world in a moment. For example, you go and wander around the law courts and someone may be sitting there in the guise of a police officer. He may even greet you, but you will never realize. That is an angel sitting there. Or he may come down in the form of a lawyer holding a brief. "Hello, how are you?" he says. You will never know.

PRESENTER: Is that the position martyrs are in?

ADNAN OKTAR: Martyrs do not come back, they leave here. They are alive, but physically of course they do not die. Allah says "They do not die." It is not the same as with the Prophet Jesus (pbuh). They, the martyrs go in spirit form. You know that they are not dead. The Prophet Jesus (pbuh)' body also went, in other words his body disappeared and crossed into that dimension. But martyrs' bodies remain behind. Their souls depart. But their test continues, and their souls are further tested. They are given a new body and they are tested in that. And following that test, their souls are again taken from that body and they enter the Paradise. Insha'Allah.

PRESENTER: I know I ask a lot of questions. I hope that is not a problem, insha'Allah.

ADNAN OKTAR: Please ask away.

PRESENTER: We do not know anything about the Prophet Jesus (pbuh)' state in the other dimension, do we? I mean, whether he was in a state of sleep or what.

ADNAN OKTAR: He speaks with our Prophet (saas). He has spoken with our Prophet (saas) at the time of his miraj (ascension). But he will not remember. He will not remember when he returns now. He will not remember the dimension he came from. For instance, we existed before the Creation of the world, and we testified before Allah, but we do not recall. People even dream at night, you will remember that dream if you wake up right away, immediately after it. But if you wake up some time later after having that dream, you cannot remember it at all. But you still had that dream and you know all the details and experienced it at length. But one cannot remember them at all, those will never occur to him. That is how it is with existence before the Creation of the world, when first we testified before Allah.

Both Hazrat Khidr (pbuh) and the Prophet Jesus (pbuh) have normal physical bodies. It is only that Hazrat Khidr (pbuh) merely switches dimensions. He crosses to one dimension and then comes back to this world. It is the same with the angels. Angels momentarily assume physical form, and again leave their worldly body at once. But among people; it is not the same with the jinn, for instance. The jinn are in spirit form and can assume physical form when they wish.
