Excerpt From Mr. Adnan Oktar's live interview on HarunYahya.TV, March 23rd, 2010
ADNAN OKTAR:Now some Muslims with inferiority complex are struggling to get rid of it, and they sink even deeper as they struggle. However, Muslim has neither inferiority nor superiority complex with his faith. He is a poor servant of Allah, a poor servant. Muslim wouldn’t bother with such a thing. He is here for a short time on this world to be tested, isn’t he? Snobbishness, highbrow behavior, trying to show off, being a communist wannabe, trying foolishly to look sympathetic by looking like a Darwinist or a pro-PKK; these are all very unwise and ugly behavior. Some gullible people give consequence to these people and are influenced by their booksy attitude. Families with inferiority complex, if their daughter is snobbish, they are proud of her snobbishness or if their son is so, they are proud of his snobbishness. This eases their inferiority complex to an extent. Some Muslims, a company or a publishing organization, let’s presume. When such snob works in their company, they think that they have a good trump against Marxists, intellectuals or leftists. They think it is very impressive. But it is actually very aversive and contemptuous, very bad. A Muslim has a Muslim identity, and he directly shows that Muslim identity. It is not right to try to become someone who is a snob and an intellectual both, a communist and a Muslim all at the same time, trying to be suitable for everyone.
