ADNAN OKTAR:I take refuge in Allah from the cursed satan. See Almighty Allah says, in Surah An-Nur; 37; "these are men not distracted by trade or commerce from the remembrance of Allah and the establishment of salat and the payment of zakat; fearing a day when all hearts and eyes will be in turmoil". People who have fear of Allah, look what Allah says for them; neither trade nor commerce, nor school, nor entertainment, nothing would distract them from the remembrance of Allah. For instance he goes to a wedding, he gets all distracted. Why do you get all distract? Allah can take your life any moment.  Who is creating that voice and that image in the wedding?  Allah.  I mean can you even see that entertainment environment had Allah not shown those to you in your brain? You can't.  What is the sense of being all spoilt and being distracted?  Or he goes to school, for instance he passes the university exam and assumes that it will be a great event.  They will say: "He came the first in the whole school, Masha'Allah he had been graduated with summa cum laude, "he will feel at the top of the world, he flies like a butterfly.  He constantly feels as if he has to have the first place in the school. He has a completely different state of mind, I mean he lives the excitement of passing everyone and of defeating everyone. He has such an ambition.  Moreover they would feel depressed if they can't win, and such things happen very frequently. We ask him ; "What is your goal? Are you doing all these for the approval of Allah? Is this for serving Islam and the Qur'an?" He replies; "No I do like to pass beyond people, I like very much to be bigger than everyone else".  He says "I do like to feel everyone's jealous eyes on me," for instance. Whereas neither the school, not the work could be done "to make people jealous over", but of course it is a nice thing to make the disbelievers jealous, that is a completely different issue. But school, work, marriage and the whole life is meant to be for the Approval of Allah. "We are weak servants of Allah, we can't be that perfect," they say. "Are we prophets? Of course i do act as I please" they say. Well then you will get your deserts as you please. You will live miserably as you please. The happiness, misery, sorrow, fear, tension, diseases that come along with that mind set will not leave you alone.  I mean, to say "I can pass this on" would not work. Allah will definitely see. You can't say" I can do this without Allah seeing". Or the mentality that states "If I do not dwell on it much, Allah would not do anything to me so that I didn't dwell on it much" will not work either. That is not how it goes.  That is because Allah would ask the account of the intelligence given to the people, He would question it. People have to fulfill all the requirements of that intelligence.
