ADNAN OKTAR:I seek refuge with Allah from accursed satan. Allah is talking to people in hell in the Hereafter. “‘Were My Signs not recited to you and did you not deny them?’” Allah says. Allah says, verses of Allah were being recited to you and you were denying them. “They will say, ‘Our Lord, our wretchedness overcame us. We were (an) erring people.” It means that people cannot find happiness. Whereas they should be filled with belief in Allah, love of Allah and joy of faith, they lull their brains by being in an unhappy and pessimistic state.  Brain functions get lost. A mind inclined to faith should be in happiness. A mind full of sadness is more closed to faith. Brain’s comprehension becomes clouded. For one thing, cheerlessness conflicts with faith. If there is no joy or excitement, then there is a sickness in faith. There is an illness. “‘Our Lord, our wretchedness overcame us. We were (an) erring people. Our Lord, remove us from it! Then if we revert again, we will definitely be wrongdoers.’” They say to Almighty Allah, try us one more time. “He will say, ‘Slink away into it and do not speak to Me.” In other words, go even deeper in Hell and don’t have a say with Me. Because Allah says, “There was a group of My slaves who said, ‘Our Lord, we believe, so forgive us and have mercy on us. You are the Best of the Merciful. But you made a mockery of them..’” Our brother asks about this verse. The verse 110 is an indication to the year 2010 in that regard, Allah Almighty says, “There was a group of My slaves...” Allah does not say “My slaves”, He says “a group of My slaves.” Maybe referring to the community of Hazrat Mahdi (pbuh), right? Yes, the community of Hazrat Mahdi (pbuh).
