Excerpt from Mr. Adnan Oktar's live interview on Kanal Avrupa, April 25th, 2010
ADNAN OKTAR:I'm saying this again; Muslims should not abide anyone who claims that the coming of Prophet Jesus (pbuh) will be a spiritual one, whoever he is. I mean they should not abide those words; those words are wrong. They should accept the right ones but they should definitely not believe in these words. That is because, it is crystal clear both in the Qur'an and in the hadiths, that Prophet Jesus (pbuh) will come as a person. And Bediuzzaman says this in a direct and clear way. Look, "Although the heavenly descend of the Prophet Jesus(pbuh) whose human body is in the skies, is a definitive truth," he says. He says it is definitive. For those who don't believe, he repeats it and says; "even if you don't believe this, and think he is really dead and passed to the farthest part of the Hereafter, he will still come again" he says. He says "He will come again, in that case Allah would give him a body so that he can come." He says that he will come even in that stance. "But there is no such thing" he says. So he says "he is neither dead, nor went to the farthest part of the Hereafter and he is now in the skies in the Sight of Allah with his human body." And about his coming, he doesn't say "he will come", he says "it is definitive", certain. What does definitive mean? Certain, definite. They say a hodja said or several hodjas claimed that he came as a spiritual entity. They should certainly not abide by them on this point nor believe in what they claim. But they can surely respect his other good words, I mean the right ones. There is no point on thinking that "every word of a person is true", you just don't abide by the wrong parts of it, they are not to abide by those. We don't agree to something that is not compatible with the Qur'an, the sunnah or the words of Bediuzzaman, just because "our hodja said so." We don't agree to those just because "x person said so." There are many people who claim this, we are aware of that, and they should not abide anyone of them. But they should not abide them on this point, as they can agree to on other good respects, on right points, insha'Allah.
