ADNAN OKTAR: It is very important to approach everything with love, to approach incidents with love and common sense. When one approaches with anger, there is a saying which states "the one moving with anger would sit back with detriment, right? We have some other similar sayings as well, we say: "bitter vinegar harms the jar". I mean anger covers wisdom, it covers reasonable thought. Of course the one moving with anger would sit back with detriment. We are obliged to be compassionate, we are obliged to be reasonable. No force could ever stand against love, I should state that. Neither America, nor Russia could stand it, neither this, nor that country. But the chauvinistic mindset, fascist mindset, dictator mindset, an oppressive soul, the tendency to shed blood, that is a disgrace, that brings sorrow. Because if you intend to shed blood once, then this one would shed blood ten times more, the other attempts to shed hundred times more. Then it would mean disaster, that would mean persecution. To be reasonable, compassionate, merciful and gentle is a must. For instance the Jews should be called to the provisions of the Torah. I have read the Torah. I have read the orders of Allah in the Torah. In the Torah Allah refers to compassion, forgiveness, treating one’s neighbors right, watching over and helping people whom you don’t even know, treating them compassionately and Allah says that they shouldn’t use violence, Allah says do not cause pain to humans. I have read the verses of the Torah and paraphrased them. I have read the provisions of the Torah. Now, when those are applied by a genuine Jew that would be most perfect, that would be very very nice. I mean everyone would be so gentle and relaxing. When we are very fastidious towards the provisions of the Qur’an and when we become brothers, then love will enfold the Muslims, there will be such a compassion. In that flood of love the fear that Jews have, would be erased completely. That is because they think that Muslims are very vindictive and full of hatred towards them and that they want to kill the Jews right away. In a desperate attempt to save their own lives, they attack even more with the instinct of self defense and this causes an immense dilemma, this causes a folded impasse. If we strictly abide by the Qur’an and constitute the Islamic Union, the love flood would embrace their souls. This tenderness, this spirit of friendship would calm the troubled waters. Apart from this, to hail out saying we will hang them, chop them, hit them, break them, a bas this, a bas that, these are not solutions. The solution is the Qur’an and the sunnah of our Prophet (saas). We are obliged to act as the way our Prophet (saas) had acted, with his understanding of compassion. Israel is in our safe hands. That is to say we will be protecting Israel when the Turkish-Islamic Union is founded. Armenia is in our safe hands, all the countries of the region are in our safe hands. We are obliged to protect them. Consequently instead of fearing from us, considering us as the ones looking after them, they would become very trustful towards us. Right? I mean just like the way a kid trusts his mother, just like him trusting his father; Turkey is both the father and the mother of the region insha’Allah. Everything will be solved with compassion and reason. Everything will be solved in line with the Qur’an. Consequently no reaction will then be raised from the world. No one will object to a system if they feel sure about its good intentions. No one will object to a system if they feel sure of its love and sincerity. When people meet someone new first, they watch out if any harm would come from them. They first watch out if they are trustworthy or not. If they regard them as trustworthy then they become very good friends. The warmth and love they feel towards them increases according to the rate of their trustworthiness. Could they become friends, confidants, mates, would they act cross when they get angry? We have to show the world that we show compassion when we are tense, when we are upset. That is because we are a ruler state, a leader state, a leader nation. Such sudden and unrestrained moves and chides do not become on us. We are a dignified and mature nation. For that reason, the first thing to do is to establish the Islamic Union quickly and to become a giant power, and to solve these courteously with the maturity and solemnity of this giant power.
