From Mr. Adnan Oktar's interview on Güneydogu Olay TV on April 20th, 2010
ADNAN OKTAR: Since there is a habbit of evaluating people by their appearances, they look and say, "the man is a saint." Whereas he is in fact a complete fraud. Or they look and say, "this man has nothing to do with religion." Whereas he is actually very saintly. That is why it is wrong to judge people by their appearances. And judging people by their appearances is of course very widespread. For example, people are full of love and respect for someone who looks wealthy. But love and respect for the poor is much lower. I see this everywhere, and it is very sad. As soon as people look at someone they act on the basis of their clothes and demeanor. This is inappropriate. But all human beings are mortal. Even the ones we find dashing. I look and see young girls putting on a very fine show. But then I think of them in 70 years' time. Long, fleshless bones in a grave. Skull and bones under the ground, under the jet black ground. It is pitch dark under there. Just bones lie there in the subterranean dark. Where are those designer handbags and clothes and make-up, that joyous laughters? Where is that majestic stride, that pride? Holding their heads erect, adopting a demeanour as if they will never die. Such haughty demeanours. But nobody moves a finger in the grave. They make not a sound. There is complete silence; no image at all, everything is pitch black. What happened to those Lacoste handbags? Those perfumes? They cannot take their perfumes underground, nor show-off, nor lie around in their sunglasses parading themselves to everyone, nor behave so grandly, nor smoke their cigarettes. Isn't that right? There are no Marlboro cigarettes in the grave. They can niether put on intellectual airs and show-off in places of entertainment there. But they can do nothing there. And how long does this take to happen. It all happens so quickly. I talked about this the other day, when a friend drew my attention to it. I switch on Fashion TV and see it on that. It constantly shows all these models walking up and down. They appear from nowhere, as if from inside the earth. I say that Allah is creating them now, creating their parents from the earth. They grow and grow, and just like their first creation. They become very great and then grow old, then start going downhill. Then they head toward the grave. I always watch with that in mind. Because those are all fine young girls, really very majestic. Of course most of their expressions are totally vacant. Children are like that, too, like robots, arms at their sides. Most are like that for some reason. What ever the reason is, I am not sure if they are trying to put on a style or if they really are like that. But how long does the system there last? Just 1.5 or 2 minutes. How long do they last in this world? You can measure it in seconds, how long does it take in this world, in terms of seconds, perhaps a few thousand times longer than that. But it always comes to an end very soon. They show models from Hitler's time, making very fast movements, but they are all dead and buried now. Aren't they? They show the famous women of that time. They show Italian women from the time of Mussolini, for instance. Really elegant and showy women. But they are all in the grave now, quite motionless. All of them. For instance if we had been able to explain this subject to them in their own day? "What are you talking about? There is plenty of time left," they would have said. But generations have come and gone since then. It all ended in an instant, and a generation passed by. Imagine the man who filmed them, who knows how he was giving himself airs, while he was making those films. Right? Or there are tapes of them talking or laughing joyously. But none of them are still with us. Allah says, "Do you see a trace of any one of them or hear even a whisper of them?" (Surah Maryam, 98) Allah even says we pass over them. And people do walk over the dead in many grave yards. But they are unaware. Those men are under the ground. Right? For instance in Istanbul, there are many districts founded on cemeteries. They dig them up with bulldozers and throw them away, or else bury them somewhere else. Then they put on a building on top of that grave. That is why, the proud should know their place. Both men and women. A young girl, for example, comes into being from nothing, from a tiny sperm. She should reflect on that. She has become a full-grown human being. She looks at her hair and puts on airs, looks at her eyes and puts on airs, looks at her arms and legs and puts on airs. But she never wonders, "Who created this?" Whereas she should think about her own weakness. Red blood is just below the surface, 1mm below her skin. Even the loveliest girl, if you take her skin away. She is so grand she seems to be saying, "I created the world." But if you lift her skin off everyone will run away from her. Nobody could bear to look at her. If you just take away the top 1 mm of skin. Because her mucles and fat would all be visible.
OKTAR BABUNA:I have witnessed it, insha'Allah.
ADNAN OKTAR:People would look for a place to hide. Their blood would run cold. But a few square meters of just 1 mm thick covers it all up. She looks like she does because Allah has covered her with skin. But if Allah took that skin away, people would be terrified. Nobody could leave their homes. And when we go a bit deeper we come across the blood, and flesh and bone, intestines and the liver and the spleen. Right? So why are you showing off so much? This grandeur and hauteur, this sense of superiority is a great miracle. Because they are impossible when one thinks logically. Every day they see their own weakness, see their wretchedness when they get up in the morning. They see their own helplessness and wretchedness many times a day. But they take extraordinary care of themselves and on then make themselves presentable enough to go out. Despite of all these, they do this inconceivable haughtiness where? They perform it all in a tiny space inside their brains. It is a great miracle the way that, despite living as an image in the brain and despite all this weakness, they manage to feel such pride and greatness; and the way with that same passion they set about killing people, rob them, shout and scream and cheat others. Allah says that people are "cruel and ignorant." "Zaluma and jahula." This is a very great miracle. Everyone, even the most majestic-looking woman or man, actually sees just an image in a tiny space in their brain. But 99% of people are unaware of this. They are unaware, even though we talk about it day and night, many people are unaware. They are not aware of this in the world. Some of those who read the part I describe in the Atlas of Creation sometimes do understand and are stunned by it. Those who understand for certain become Muslims.
