Excerpt from Mr. Adnan Oktar's live interview on Kocaeli TV, June 4, 2010
ALTUG BERKER: You know better insha’Allah, before you mentioned this, I have never seen someone else talk about it. Especially, in these last events with Israel; you said that atheist zionists and religious people should be differentiated, that the Jews should be separated as the religious and atheist zionists and they should be evaluated accordingly. Today for example, our Prime Minister told the same. He differentiated between the religious Jews and atheist zionists. He read a passage from the Torah saying, “You shall not murder.” There is the religious Jews in America with Turkish flags in their hands holding slogans condemning Israel.
ADNAN OKTAR:This is Palestine flag right?
ALTUG BERKER: Yes, it is Palestine flag.
ADNAN OKTAR: Most of the religious people in Israel don’t want incidents like this to take place; always peace. They send me e-mails. They sent yesterday also, there were a great many e-mails sent. They are very disturbed with this situation. I can read some of the e-mails tomorrow insha’Allah. You will see there.
PRESENTER: The people that we call religious, that part is reacting as far as I watched and saw. Moreover, the spokesmen in some programs and news make them sweat. They don’t know what to say. They can’t apologize also. I wonder what they will do as it’s not finalized yet.
ADNAN OKTAR: They have to apologize, that’s very important.
PRESENTER: Yes, but they resist not to apologize.
ALTUG BERKER: This is about one of those religious Jews especially, Rabbi Froman, the Rabbi from the Jerusalem Peace Makers Initiative, who came here with enthusiasm and agreed to your calls for peace and who said that you were the solution. Our Prime Minister has invited him and they have talked. “The bloody raid to the ships to Gazza that caused tension between Israel and Turkey got different reactions from many circles. There is one, Rabbi Menachem Froman from the Jerusalem Peace Makers Initiative, who said that both extreme religious and leftist groups in Israel believe that Prime Minister Erdogan will bring peace to the region and that Israel is a democratic country that takes the opinions of its people into attention. Froman said, ‘If the mutual plan we made begins to take effect, our government will not be able to obstruct the thoughts of the nation in terms of peace, joy and faith.’”
ADNAN OKTAR: Masha’Allah so he has met with our Prime Minister. He has also sent me a letter of thanks. He thinks that I have been helpful for some of the connections when he came to Turkey. I suppose he thinks that I’m valuable in some connections and meetings. So he sent a message of thanks. His admiration for me is really great masha’Allah. He hugged me for several times here. He was really enthusiatic and his love is immense masha’Allah. He wants Turkey to be the leader in the region within the Ottoman vision; he says this very explicitly. We can show it as a short film in the next program insha’Allah. We can show their views about us, about Turkey in a video insha’Allah.
