Excerpt from Mr. Adnan Oktar's live interview on Samsun AKS TV and TV Kayseri, June 16th , 2010
ADNAN OKTAR:Their idea of martyrdom is not as a sacred belief. "I will lay down my life for Leninism", meaning Marxist-Leninist thinking. "Long live Marxist-Leninist thinking and down with fascism", those are the only slogans they know. They regard fascism as the only idea opposed to Marxist-Leninist thinking. In other words; "if someone is not a Marxist-Leninist, then he must be a fascist. There is no other alternative," he says. Apo issued a statement about me, for example. "The national intelligence organization [MIT] employs such types," he said. He says that I am an MIT agent. But I have never in my life crossed the MIT threshold. I don't even know where it is, I do not even know the building. I really don't. I don't know the place in Istanbul, neither in Ankara. He says: "The state always determines policy by making use of the views of such people. Therefore, that was also how it was in Ottoman times. The Ottoman state made use of the ulema. And now the state makes use of Adnan Hodja." In other words, he is uncomfortable with my anti-Darwinist, anti-Marxist, anti-communist activities. He is at a loss how to comment on, how to account for it. The fact is that I have stood up as an individual, as someone who loves Allah, the religion and His book, for the Approval of Allah. I do not know the way to MIT nor anything about any other ideas. I do not know at all. I mean it is not because I am not opposed to MIT. I am proud of it. It is an organ of state. I would be proud to be an MIT employee, but I am not, insha'Allah. It is not right that I am guiding the state, neither do I have such a claim. I do not sit anyone down and tell them what to do. But of course, as a citizen, I of course voice my own views. Some people may make use of them. A politician may see them right and say "that is actually right, let us do this" to himself. It is quite normal for politicians to make use of various people and ideas. It is therefore hard for me to engage all by myself in a one-sided anti-communist activity. We need support. The state has to clear the way for us and make certain means available. In that event we will demolish this long-term plan right from the outset. Otherwise, the more science, technology and other means develop, the more Darwinist, communist propaganda will overgrow. It will pervade high schools and primary schools and everywhere. Tomorrow may be too late. It may come to be immune. It may win over a huge mass of people to its own ranks. Ideological propaganda is vitally important. The communists even say: "As the communist movement grows, as the bourgeoisie is so fond of its own comfort..." I of course consider the state, our own brothers and everyone free of this, it says :" .. as the bourgeoisie is so fond of its own comfort, it will persistently ignore this approaching danger that will swallow it up, crush it and devastate it. You can rest easy on that. The bourgeoisie will be so obsessed with greed for possessions, for wealth, that it will be unconcerned even if communism progress is at the gate. It will only realize at the very last moment when an attempt is made on their lives. Only then it will wake up. But it will then be too late. For that reason, do not worry about a bourgeois counter-attack as you spread communist propaganda, as it will not happen. They are just concerned for their own comfort." That is in the statements of the communists. A young person in Syria wondered how Syria had ended up like that. As you know, it was in Hafez Assad's hands at one time, it fell into the hands of the communists, but they were later liberated. Allah made us His instrument, and we engaged in anti-Darwinist, anti-communist activity. That had an impact on Syria, and on Iraq and everywhere. They had nothing left to cling to and fell apart everywhere. In other words, we demolished communist ideology in the whole Islamic world. We demolished the foundation of the system.
