OKTAR BABUNA:Today you have spoken about Islamic Union and its importance with the evidences you have given from the works of Baduizzaman, masha'Allah. With you being an instrument, Masha'Allah our brothers, the students of the Nur, have at last put it on their web sites, Alhamdulillah.

ADNAN OKTAR:When we refer to the Islamic Union, Baduizzaman describes what is meant. Every country will preserve its own system. Muslim brotherhood, Muslim moral values and Muslim love will develop among them. There is no imposition, saying;"you must do this and they must do that, you must change your regime, the system has to change" or alike.  Nothing like that. Everyone can have the system they like. But efforts will be put to ensure that the understanding of love, forgiveness, feelings of brotherhood and cleanliness in Islam and the moral values of the Qur'an as a whole, would prevail within that system. Do I make myself clear? Insha'Allah.

OKTAR BABUNA:And as the evidence you have given from him, you said that he described it as "the greatest religious obligation" in an address he gave in 1909.

ADNAN OKTAR:That is very clear and explicit. But that is great that our students, our brothers of the Nur - well they are not my students of course, in fact we are their students- but I meant the students of the Risale-i Nur, are making very excellent progress. Their putting the Islamic Union and discussing it on their web sites is a very good thing. It looks like it will get even better.

OKTAR BABUNA:I can ask a question.

ADNAN OKTAR: Go ahead.

OKTAR BABUNA:I would like to ask this, with your permission. Will the coming of the Prophet Jesus(pbuh) take place after the establishment of the Islamic Union? How will it happen?

ADNAN OKTAR:People will already be living by Islam when the Prophet Jesus (pbuh) comes. Christians will have fully understood Islam and will have a predisposition to become Muslims. They will have a desire to become Muslims in their hearts. But there will still be a hesitation, they will be in a state of hesitation. In the meantime, the Darwinist and materialist thinking will still be around here and there and in the institutions of the state, even though it would be in its death throes. Said Nursi says, "That irreligious trade will be demolished with the coming of the Prophet Jesus(pbuh)". "It will completely disappear," he says. In other words, its ruination is one thing, being in a comatose state and resisting in death throes are another. It will be paralyzed and in its death throes in the time of Hazrat Mahdi (pbuh). But it will not be cast out of the system. "That irreligious trade will be destroyed with the appearance of the Prophet Jesus(pbuh),"he says.  That means it will be casted completely into the depths of history and it will vanish. But the Messiah is the deputy, helpmate and protector of Hazrat Mahdi (pbuh). Hazrat Mahdi(pbuh) also protects and watches out for the Messiah(pbuh) and these two are great friends and they love each other very much. But the weight of matters lies with Hazrat Mahdi (pbuh), 90% of it. Or let us say even 95%. We can see this from the accounts, insha'Allah.

OKTAR BABUNA:You know best. You told us of a hadith stating that he will be finding a chest full of 1000 ready books in it and preaching with those.

ADNAN OKTAR: Of course, for example, the Prophet Jesus' books are also ready. It is said that "he will find books bearing the seal of our Prophet (saas) in a chest". It is said that "He, the Prophet Jesus(pbuh), will perform his duty of preaching with those books." But of course there is still a bit more to go until the Prophet Jesus, while the climate of the system of the Mahdi is here now.
