ADNAN OKTAR: Now look, if a person lost his strength so much so that he commits suicide, then this shows the intensity of his moral demolition. No matter what, a person can’t commit murder. There could be no reason that could lead a person to commit murder. It is murder to kill oneself and it’s unlawful by religion. Whoever does it? So what? You get out of the house and go, sit at a park. You go to the park of the municipality, grab a bread to eat or stay at the court of the mosque, but you don’t kill yourself. This is forbidden by religion for sure. What would happen to you? Would you starve to death? So what? Allah will protect you. If it’s a matter of pride, then why feel proud? If you went bankrupt, we would take it well. Allah caused you to go bankrupt so there is good in it. Why do you worry? Allah says, I seek refuge in Allah from the satan, “He gives abundance”, it’s in the verse. “He also gives poverty” Allah says. There is no getting spoiled, egocentrism, arrogance and pride in abundance and no sorrow, sadness and hopelessness in poverty. One should trust in Allah and be patient.

PRESENTER: One has to be patient and not rise against Allah.

ADNAN OKTAR: Of course. This is a grave danger and society has to be warned about this. These people who commit suicide are very valuable, aren’t they? But they lack religious knowledge and faith, and generally they are in a state of insanity, they get depressed and commit suicide. May Allah forbid.

ADNAN OKTAR: And they are doing something unlawful by religion.
