From Mr. Adnan Oktar's live interview on Adıyaman Asu TV, 14 June 2010
ADNAN OKTAR:The Turkish daily Vakit carried a piece. They are writing about one person each day I guess. This brother of ours here is from Adıyaman, Fahri Yıldız. Here, he is shown with his family. The one at the back is his young son, Harun Yahya. I will tell you his story. Can you see from there? This is our little Harun Yahya, look. This is our martyr. This brother of ours loves me and my brothers very deeply. He loves us madly, he loves us very much. He is a person of affection. He loves the Science Research Foundation, our foundation. He distributes my books on a voluntary basis in Adıyaman. He preaches to everyone and tells them about Islam. He called his young son Harun Yahya because he loves me so much. This little one, look, it also writes here in the paper, “With Harun Yahya” at the age of 8. Eight years ago, he gave him the name Harun Yahya because of his love for me. This is a faithful person with fear of Allah. He is an Abrahamic, a Jew, a follower of Noah(pbuh); in other words he is a true follower of Moses(pbuh), of Mohammed (saas), meaning a flawless Muslim. He is an immaculate human being. Now if you pull a gun and shoot him in the face, that is unlawful. The reward for that would be everlasting Hell. That is not a religious observance. The result of it is everlasting Hell. The law regarding that has to be set out, and I am going to set it out.
It is a system that has put Muslims into the grinder. They slowly grind them away there, very gradually. You are unarmed. You have no planes, or tanks, or artillery, or troops or anything. They wait and then fire a rocket into Israel, for instance. A primitive, home-made rocket. They put gunpowder into a piece of water piping. Now Israel says; "they launched rockets here to kill us." They in any case fall on empty ground. They are totally primitive, made out of bits of tubing and the like. These are trumped-up rockets. But if they land on someone they will still kill him. Of course they launch them with the intention of causing fatalities. If someone launches a rocket on a city, with what intention is it launched? They launch it so that it would hit someone. Now these people say; "well then, this is not the way a rocket is launched, see how it is done," and raze them to the ground. Now is that reasonable, my brother? How can you launch a rocket at an unknown location or target? Or what if one hits a Muslim? What if it hits a devout Christian, or a devout Jew? Your target is obviously the killer, atheist, Zionists. But even if a killer is an atheist Zionist you cannot punish him without putting him on trial. Not under the Islamic law. And death penalty is a very severe penalty. Allah tells us in the Qur'an even to forgive murder. "It is better for you to forgive," He says. So where does this judgment come from? According to what, this is carried out? Even though they know it will serve no purpose. You don't know if it will hit a Muslim or an atheist or what. They just fire them off. And the other side just bombs whoever they see, regardless if they are women or children. And then the others pour out onto the streets, shouting and screaming. Let me not say it like that, may Allah forgive. They shout out with all their might I meant. There is such a dead-end here. This happens continuously. They launch rockets and the others bomb them back. It is happening all the time and there have been thousands of martyrs. And they are asking me " Why do you not support this system? Come shout out with us and come support this system,” they say. But I say you cannot launch rockets at random targets, I mean you cannot launch rockets to an unknown target. You have to put those people on a trial, one by one. There is the principle of individuality of crime. You have to judge people accordingly. If you launch rockets at them, you are just playing into their hands. You are giving them the right to act in self defense. Under their own laws and through their own logic they will come back and pound you with bombs severely. I am not saying they are right, but this is what they do.
Now see that this system is going on continuously without any exceptions. They ask me, "Why do you not support this system?" I would not support such an irrational system. It is unacceptable. What is the correct method to do this? My brother you say, you gather all Muslims together and say, " you are being persecuted everywhere." Our brothers have been martyred in East Turkestan, and millions of our brothers have been murdered in Afghanistan. I should not say murdered, may Allah forgive, they have all been martyred. Millions have been martyred in Iraq. And it is the same in Palestine. It is going on all the time. I am saying "come for the sake of Allah, this is the command of Allah, come and be united." Look, this is the first stage. Come and let us set up a Turkish-Islamic Union. Look, Turks are killing one another. You know there are newspaper reports about that. But both sides are Turks, they are brothers. This is nothing new. It is not limited to the Uzbeks and the Kyrgyz. It happens with the Kazakhs, too. Our Turkish brothers go there from Turkey. Their places of work have been attacked many times. They left them covered in blood, beat them and sent them back here. This unhappy, inauspicious state of affairs is going on continuously because there is no Turkish-Islamic Union. Once the Turkish-Islamic Union is formed, neither Kazakhs, nor Turkmens, nor Uzbeks, nor Kyrgyz people, nor anyone else would attack each other. That would not happen. There would be no constant bombing or devastation in the Muslim world. There would be no such cries of pain.
