Excerpt from Mr. Adnan Oktar's Live Interview at Kocaeli TV on May 15th, 2010
ADNAN OKTAR: (I take refuge in Allah from the satan) "The muminun are those who believe in Allah and His Messenger and who, when they are with him on a matter of common concern, do not leave until they have asked him for permission."So they don't act according to their own way. He has an elder, a leader, an imam, and the Prophet is the highest of all those, Allah say: "they take permission from him." "Those people who ask you for permission are the ones who truly believe in Allah and His Messenger. If they ask your permission to attend to their own affairs, give permission to any of them you please" There is a sign in the Qur'an for people to ask for the consent of the elders by consulting with them, right? For example, he has an elder brother or a Master and when there is something, he can ask by courtesy, "How is your discretion on this, I have such an intention, do you think it would be acceptable?" This is a divine gift and a beauty. "...and ask Allah's forgiveness for them." It is nice to ask for forgiveness on behalf of one another for a Muslim. We pray saying, "Oh our Lord forgive all Muslims." Insha'Allah. May Allah forgive all Muslims. "Allah is Ever-Forgiving, Most Merciful." "Do not make the Messenger's summoning of you the same as your summoning of one another." Allah says, "That would be rude. Behave in a more respectful way to the Prophet (saas)." For instance, when there is a murshid (guide), an elder person or a scholar we show respect. We behave in that way with the guidance of the Qur'an. "Allah knows those of you who sneak away."For example, in the time of the Prophet (saas), there are characterless rascals. There is one - look how big an idiot he is- who tries to get out by using another as a shield so that the Prophet (saas) don't see him. If you are going to get out, directly say it, you dishonest person! You say, "Sir I have such an excuse, I would like to get out." Why hide? You are being dishonest. Look at the foolishness; he thinks that it will not be noticed. Also the Prophet (saas) gets revelations, so even if his eyes don't see, Gabriel tells him anyway. "Those who oppose his command should beware of a testing trial coming to them or a painful punishment striking them."Those who strive against the guardians and the Prophets of Allah will surely get into trouble. Allah points this out. Allah says, "Don't strive against them, I'll give you trouble, I'll harm you." Look, "Those should beware of a testing trial coming to them or a painful punishment striking them."So He says to those who don't understand; "You think Allah will not do anything, but He will." But believers already have faith and they accept it this way.
