ADNAN OKTAR: "Dear Master, some atheists who do not understand destiny enter into arguments about the existence of Allah (may Allah forbid) by asking questions such as "why do children die in disasters?" How can we answer these statements?" a brother from England has asked. One of the most important instruments of the test, of Allah's testing people, is this; the death of children. How if children don't die, for example a house collapses and children get out of the ruins by walking. In everything, for example, they shoot at the children but when the bullet reaches the child, it will be like a chickpea, he is not affected and throws it away. What kind of a test would that be? Would that be a testing environment? It would be a miracle. It would cause people to lose their free will. Look, Allah wants human beings to exist. Allah is not alone, Allah is one with people. Allah does not need people, but when we say one with people, not in the sense that He needs people. There are also people, insha'Allah. That is Allah wants them. He wants the world. He wants the existence of events and the beauties of this creation. Allah loves what is beautiful, in that sense...
Now for example, Allah kills a child. What is a child? The child is in your brain, a creature created by Allah. Allah creates in your brain. It has existence outside but Allah creates the outside existence as well, and He creates it in your brain also. Who takes him or her away? Again: Allah does. Who gives you that sense of pity? Who gives that sense of pity towards the child? Again: Allah. For example, if He wished, Allah could have created us in a way that we would be very pleased with the death of that child. Then people would be very pleased with child death. For example, how is it with animal? When they tear into pieces and kill, they love it. An animal likes to kill, they don't know. If Allah wished so, He could have created us like that. Would it not be an irrational behavior if we tried to teach mercy to the One Who gives us that mercy and sense of pity? Look, He teaches us mercy, He gives us the sense of pity. We can't be in a position of teaching (may Allah forbid, may Allah forbid) Allah the sense of pity that He gave us. There is wisdom there. There is a gracefulness. Wali(saint) natured people, people close to Allah see this wisdom. People with a weak mind can't find it. Because they can't find it, they fall in it head over heels. This is trap in the test, Allah's trap. Only faithful people can walk straight on this path. People with a weak mind continuously slip and fall down. There is no need for a child for that; his tooth aches, he can deny Allah even because of that. Or for example, a disease occurs in his eye, he denies Allah. It is very easy for them to deny Allah. This is what we call, "the secret of the test." The test is all founded on this, on this system. In this system that Allah created, those who always think on the side of Allah, who think positive are the ones who are close to Allah. And those who think against Allah, are away from Allah. We will first of all decide on the Existence of Allah. For example, now the Prophet Jesus (pbuh) will come, and he already did according to me, and he doesn't remember the past. Then he gains his conscious and he looks and sees that Allah exists. He decides for once that Allah exists. Then it's the end. He doesn't say, "Is this like this or that?" after that. We realize our own existence right? We are certain about our existence. Do we fall into doubt about our own existence? No matter what we do, or whatever happens. Even if we feel a sense ofnonentity, we are certain about our existence. That is because we have decided for once. One decides about Allah for once as well. No matter what Allah creates in the test, one always thinks in favor of Allah. Those who slip, come to their senses after a while and correct themselves, they become ashamed. Then he slips again and he corrects himself and continues. Our Prophet (saas) explains this in the hadiths. He says, "A person has faith in the morning and does not have faith in the evening." He says, "He begins to have faith in the evening again and becomes faithless in the morning." He says, "Faith is a core of fire in their hands; people can't hold it in their hands."
During the course of Allah's test, it is important to be very sincere and on the side of Allah without fail. Now Allah kills the child. How do you know what that child is, what would become of that deceased child? I mean, with your mind this big. It is being shown to you in a tiny place in your brain. You would be very embarrassed and fell ashamed. There are many delicate secrets there, Allah's secrets of which you are not aware. You have the responsibility to trust Allah there. Who taught you about mercy? He did. What is with you then? What is your problem? If He doesn't teach you, you will not learn anyhow. If He doesn't give you this information, you will not know. He teaches you. It is again Allah Who creates that doubt and suspicion. However, every deceased child is in the Heaven. Everyone will know them when they see. Everyone will recognize their own children. Look, also in this world, there is a continuous presentation. For instance you were not here just before. Allah created you all of a sudden and put you in front of me and you all are very sweet.
This is how it will be in the Heaven, with the same methods. They just appear in front of us, and we meet them with affection, as if we have known them for 40 years. The children as well, they will love everyone, not just his or her mother and father. They will feel love for all of them. However, what is very important here is this: Allah Who created the child creates his body and his appearance as well. He takes his life away and this bothers the man. Then did Allah ask you when He created in the first place? He might have never created him or her, then what? Just assume that he or she never existed, what are you going to do? He could have kept one like that and never bring here from the Heaven. They come here from the Heaven and they go back to where they came from. So they come from the Heaven and they turn back to their place in the Heaven. They are still after why they came and went. One has to be tied to Allah wit h a very strong love. If you are tied with a feint love, then such doubts occur..
