ADNAN OKTAR:People who have fallen into many sins and lived many things, accept the religion in a more determined manner. They don't ever turn back again. They don't become obssessed with the world. They don't say what is there more. That is because they have already seen that it's worthless. They become Muslims because they have seen it as worthless. They have seen the ugliness of drugs, of forbidden things, of adultry, of everything. Therefore, it doesn't come as appealing anymore. But a person who did not see anything; there is always a thought of 'what if?' 'How is it like?' They can ask themselves whether it's really appealing or not. But those who look and see, realize that is only a swamp and indignity, there is nothing more. It is very bad.. In that sense, it's an advantage for that person from one aspect. It enables him to be more unshakeable and more experienced. And if he is preaching the religion, he would have a better ability to cope. So he knows the reflexes, psychology and state of mind of those people and know how to treat them. Because another person may find it difficult to cope because he doesn't know them. He may find it difficult. In that sense, they can feel at ease. Allah will turn it into a blessing insha'Allah. There is nothing to feel offended about. His life after he became a Muslim counts. He is a barefaced Muslim. His past doesn't concern anyone. Personally, when I meet someone, I don't ask him/her of the past as it doesn't concern me at all. Even if they prove that very abnormal incidents have happened with documents and photos, I don't turn a hair and I don't care in any way. It doesn't concern me at all. Because in the past Allah created him/her in that way; it's his/her destiny. What counts is his latest moment. Is this person a believer, a barefaced individual in this last moment? Right? Then it's okay. We do not have the right to investigate beyond that anyway. It's not us who will punish or judge. It's between Allah and him. Allah may have made him experience that for a reason. He should be at ease. There is nothing to be worried or upset about. Actually it's forbidden by religion to be saddened. It is forbidden by religion to sorrow over what he did in the past. Regret is showing an attitude that is more alive and enthusiast. That's what regret is, not prooding over, being sad or crying. That is an act forbidden by religion.
