Excerpt from Mr. Adnan Oktar's interview on harunyahya.tv on August 6th 2010
ADNAN OKTAR:When you die, your father remains behind. One's brother remains behind, and one's wife, and place of business. His computer stays behind on the desk, his shoes by the door and one's jackets in the wardrobe, don't they? His friends carry on swimming in the sea. He first spends the evening in the morgue, in the freezer. The next day they wash him, tie his jaw up and his toes with gauze strips. They wrap him in a shroud. They dig down at least 2 m under the ground, or even deeper. Then they say, "Bismillahirrahmanirrahim" and suspend him down and then drop him down, he hits the ground. Then they say "Come along, let's cover him up. Bismillah." And everyone starts shoveling all the soil around on top of his head. May Allah forgive me, I should say they start covering him with earth. It pours down and down and down. Then once those 2 m are completely full of earth they flatten it out with the shovel. And then say: "let us go". That person's spouse is outside, waiting at home, his father and children are at home. His car is at the gate. But he is under the ground. If he were to move, there is 2m of soil on top of him. There is no light there, either. It is dark. The soul stays there for a while, it cannot leave, insha'Allah. It will see and taste all that, insha'Allah. His friends tell one another the news on Facebook. He is dead; they don't even spell the word dead completely only use abbreviations. Or they write, "Wooooow," with a whole string of 'o's. People use such kind of language on the internet. But the person who writes that will also die himself. And others type the same messages. And those messages carry on one after the other. And all their belongings are left behind; their computers, pots and pans, shoes, all those different styles of shoes. They say, "should we give these to the thrift shops or to charity?" Their shirts, pens, desks and even the plates they ate off all remain behind. Even a last half-eaten meal. They carry the person right off. He suffers a stroke and his dinner is left behind. From a wedding, from the seaside, there are a lot men carried out like that; from Bodrum or Kusadası or Köycegiz, wherever. Insha'Allah. "Right then," they say, and put him to a car, take him away. But that same disco atmosphere remains there. The music and the dance go on. One by one this happens. The next day, someone else dancing dies. The next day, someone dies while surfing. Then someone dies while eating meatballs in a restaurant. They will all die one by one. That restaurant will stay open but he will be under the ground, he won't be able to eat meatballs ever again. Never again will he be able to have a laugh on Facebook, or sit down to table to have fun with his friends. Do you now how long will he wait? He will wait there until the Day of Judgment. He will wait there totally immobile. The body will rot slowly.. People make comments about his eyes: "What beautiful eyes he has, they are deep blue" or sometimes there are young girls for whom they say "she is worthy to marry a doctor or general." On the street they offer her to be an actress. "You will be a really great actress," they say. "Oh, you really are awesome. And she has even been offered to be an actress?" they ask. "Then she is really a catch, that is really awesome " they say. She gets consumed in arrogance, "we will make a star out of you," they will say. Whereas there are so many great star under the ground now, not even their bones remained. Right? Or, he even start to look down on his parents. That is because he loses himself in an instant and he will start think he is something special. His arrogance recurs. Or, "You won the first place," they say. "You are the champion, nobody is better than you, you are the greatest." He forgets how many champions are under the ground. He remains unaware. "Look at those eyes," they say. But those eyes will become jelly like water, just dissolve away under the ground, into the earth. Where are those blue eyes now? "Wow, look at that physique," they say. That 1.75 cm bones are lined up on the soil. Sometimes forensic medicine opens up a grave and say: "It is understood that she was 1.75 m tall." They can tell that from the bone structure. The earth eats that tall stature as well. "She has a small and pretty nose," they say. But the earth doesn't care small and pretty, it just dissolves that nose away. All that remains will a grinning skull, nothing more. Just a grinning skull remains. Or that is how it looks. I should not have said grinning, may Allah forgive me. But it looks really peculiar. And where are your perfumes? The most horrible smell forms under the ground, really disgusting, and it never goes away. There is no ventilation or windows or anything. And there the soul will stay. In the pitch dark. If he was irreligious, his friends will be the kind he can imagine. And they will never leave him. That is why we need to look at matters rationally and sensibly. We must fear Allah and be sincere Muslims.
OKTAR BABUNA:There was a clip along the lines of what you said. It is about the youth and old age of famous artists, as you mentioned. I will try to find it. As you said, all of them are in the grave.
ADNAN OKTAR:My brother sometimes there are such types of people who think they will never die. For instance she is like a model. They tell her; "you would make a superb model." But what are the models of 10 years ago like now? Or of 20 years ago? Nobody remembers them. They are all gone and forgotten. Or you are a champion at this or that. But it will all be over and forgotten in a few years. That is why it is so foolish to turn one's back on Allah, the Qur'an, the Book for the sake of this, for such a rank or any kind of earthly interest.
OKTAR BABUNA:Insha'Allah.

Those celebrities, artists, movie stars or politicians whose physical beauty the world so admired when they were young look very different in their old age. They lose all their power and beauty.
Allah created you and then will take you back again. And some of you revert to the lowest form of life so that after having knowledge, you know nothing at all.. (Surat an-Nahl: 70)
.. do not let the life of this world delude you.. (Surah Fatir: 5)
