ADNAN OKTAR: The Islamic world is in a wretched state. For example, we all are living here very comfortably but our brothers in Afghanistan are living a life of misery. They are in very primitive, very poor conditions, those children, those people. This is so in Iraq and also in Chechnya. Our people in Chechnya are suffering greatly. They are really in a wretched state. It's a pity for both sides, it really is a pity for both sides.  Insha'Allah a democratic election can be held there with the votes and sincere opinions of the people of Chechnya, and the party of the people's choosing can be in government. Insha'Allah this is what's desired. We want no oppression there. I don't know the current situation there but what we want from them is this; for both sides to agree, for tranquility to be achieved and for Russian soldiers to withdraw from Chechnya. Chechnya must be left completely to the people of Chechnya.

PRESENTER:Just like the people wants.

ADNAN OKTAR:Of course what the people wants. For example, if there were Russian soldiers in Turkey now, who would want that? May Allah forbid. This would have been a disaster. Turkey would not accept something like that anyway. The Turkish nation would not accept that either. May Allah forbid, in the face of something like that, neither the Turkish, nor the Russian soldiers would be left. Blood would be spilt like flood, may Allah forbid. Our nation would not accept captivity. That is in their nature.

PRESENTER:  Our sense of nationalism.

ADNAN OKTAR:There is no way. Our people would prefer death. They would prefer death. They wouldn't accept it. They would say, "Kill me but I'm not accepting that." This is the nature of our people. But now Chechenians, our brothers are there. This would not be suitable in anywhere of the world. What is a foreign soldier doing in somewhere else? Right? Russia must retrieve. We ask them to retrieve. But there must be a completely democratic environment there. We are not saying, "Russia must retrieve so that armed incidents can take place there." A middle way can be found. Turkey can be the referee. What a pity for those young people there. So many people are being martyrized. There is a grave oppression. The other day they showed me a film. This is a scandal. May Allah forbid, a scandal. May Allah forbid. I was deeply disturbed. When I saw the footage I saw events that I have never expected to see. Putin is a reasonable man. He is a courteous person. Let Turkey be the guarantor. Look, let Turkey be the guarantor and let the Russian soldiers retrieve. So that there can be peace there. So that complete democracy can be in effect. Let democratic elections to be held. But oppression is not acceptable. I mean saying: "Now that Russia is gone, let us come out, let us hang them, chop them,  bomb them and make them do what we want," is not acceptable either. We will leave the people alone. We will say, "Dear brothers and sisters. What do you want? These are the parties you want. So everyone can go and vote to his or her liking. In the Parliament, everyone is represented accordingly, so that a completely democratic environment is achieved." Turkey can ensure this very easily. They should do this for the sake of Allah. That is because the news we receive is a disaster. It is a real disaster. It is really weird. There are murders, incidents and complicated assassinations under-handed.

ADNAN OKTAR:It's a pity. It's a sin. May Allah forbid. Turkey should definitely take action. Let us request Putin. That is because he is a person who is open to talk, to converse and to explain. I mean that is because Russians are not a nation to take pleasure in invasion. What could they achieve through invasion? They also have a rush of their own of course, they have a disturbance. They are thinking whether or not a terror, anarchy or a forced seizure of government could happen. By the leave of Allah, nothing will happen. That's what is going to happen: A troop from Turkey will go there, not many. Yes, yes only one troop.

PRESENTER:I think they would not want Turkey to be against them.

ADNAN OKTAR:That's all. A troop will go and the Russians will retrieve. Nothing will happen. The Chechenians are very polite people. They are very noble and high people. Insha'Allah they would keep their promises. There would be a peaceful environment. Brother, what are those that I have watched in that film? It was inconceivable. It's a scandal. Look, I'm saying, it is a pity on both sides. It is a pity on both sides, right? Turkey must deal with this as a priority according to me. Let us talk with Russia immediately. Medvedev is a very polite and courteous person. They all are respectful and decent people. Let us give them one hundred percent guarantee insha'Allah. Let us take guarantee from them as well. I mean guarantee is taken from opposite elements as well. I mean we can and we would take guarantee from the ones Russia is in conflict with. Turkey can get that guarantee from everywhere insha'Allah. Turkey can stay there as the guarantor country and that's it. Everything would work out just fine. Let us stop this trouble. Let us end it once and for all. This is very disturbing. Insha'Allah. But no one should try to get revenge from anyone. I mean, let all that already happened stay as it is. If they attempt to get revenge, this would take long and this shouldn't happen. This is not suitable to Islamic moral values. They will forgive one another and the case will be closed. They will forget. If you look for revenge, this goes on till the Day of Judgment.

ADNAN OKTAR:Of course. And it would benefit no one. They'll forget. This has happened in destiny as the discretion of Allah. This has happened somehow.  Let us end this somehow, insha'Allah, by the leave of Allah.
