ADNAN OKTAR: And direct offering is not acceptable either. For example, they say directly to the man, "Perform your prayers(salat)." "As-Salamu alaykum, do you perform your prayers?" This is not how it's done. First his faith in Allah must be properly strengthened. People's faith in Allah is blurred; most of the people are like that. Most of them are in hesitation. There is a verse in the Qur'an. Allah says, "They are indeed in grave doubt about it."It is fifty- fifty; he sometimes believes in the existence of Allah and sometimes not. But this begins to strengthen in his mind after providing strong evidences and rational signs leading to faith about animals, plants, biology, paleontology and everything. After making it solid on his mind and strengthening it, an excitement and love towards Allah will start to grow inside him, he sees that faith is zestful, I mean he sees that faith is comforting and that it gives pleasure, I mean he sees that his inner self also likes it. And he looks and sees that faith is the most pleasant thing. I mean it is above eating and traveling, etc., he understands that it is above everything else. Faith has a special pleasure. Allah created faith in a form to give pleasure to the inner self. When he tastes this pleasure of faith, then it's okay. Then he enters into that path through nice explanations and statements. It is also a very grave danger to complicate the religion. It would serve satan. It must be shown to him that religion is easy. Because Allah says in the verse, "He has not laid upon you an hardship in religion; the faith of your father Abraham" He says, "Allah desires ease for you; He does not desire difficulty for you."Some ignorant people think that the more difficult they make it, the more Allah will like. However, the more you make it difficult, the more you serve the satan. The easier you make it, the more you serve Allah, the closer you make the other get to Allah but of course one must behave in accordance with the Ahl-al Sunnah belief, it should be compliant with the Qur'an and the Sunnah. There are some arrivistes who behave after their own heart, they change the prayers, the religion and turn it into a completely different form. They say, "There are no Angels, no destiny, no prayer, no fasting" and they make an explanation for everything. I'm not talking about this. The easiness and clearness of the religion at the time of the Companions should be existent. Additionally, the statements of a person who really has faith would be very effective. A person who understands for real, who understands faith. That is because faith has a secret, it has specific hidden secret. Once that person realizes that, he becomes very conscious and his mind gets sharper. The community understands that as well. For example, people don't mind a person with a weak faith telling the religion. For example, they immediately realize that he is a crook. The weakness in the manners, deceitfulness, hypocrisy of that someone with weak faith is clearly understood. Such a person is a classic characterless, it is recognized instantly and he uses the religion as a commodity (Allah is beyond that). However the unbelievers really abstain from the ones who have real faith. They realize him. His strength doesn't matter, his surroundings don't matter. This is why, for example, the society was so afraid of the Prophet Moses (pbuh) in that time, except for Muslims. They found him very dangerous. For example, they were quite afraid of our Prophet (saas). They offered everything to our Prophet (saas). They told him to give up the Prophethood. He said, "If you give the Moon to one hand and the Sun to the other, I would still not give up." That is because it is the command of Allah. It is certain that he will not give up. They said, "Be a governor. We shall do whatever you ask, give all of our belongings but just give up." They offered everything but our Prophet (saas) did not accept anything. That is because he has real faith, true faith. For example, had there been a false Prophet, he would accept the offer but since he is a real Prophet he would never accept it.
