ADNAN OKTAR: But look Allah deliberately didn't give it to human beings so that they can realize their helplessness. That is because a system that will happen in the Heaven. Because if it happened here, they would become arrogant. Here on the contrary, Allah created everything that would crush the man's pride.

PRESENTER 2: He hid the rewards for later.

ADNAN OKTAR: Of course. Human beings need care from tip to toe continuously. They would become miserable when there is no care. For example, his ears need care, his nose needs care, his eyes need care and his mouth and teeth need care. His whole body needs care.  One can only be clean and beautiful with care. It is Allah Who creates that care as well. But it is only for that person to see his weakness. For example, Allah gave many signs for both men and women to think about their helplessness. They see those weaknesses day and night. Allah created this especially to break people's pride and arrogance. In the general sense, it is given to break the arrogance of man. But, despite all these, people don't get affected. For instance, he has cancer but doesn't get affected. He still put on airs, because of his cancer. He praises himself over that. "I'm being treated in the most modern hospital" and such. My brother, you are dying. Are you still showing off with that?

PRESENTER 2: Even about their graves. They say, "My grave is by the seaside."

ADNAN OKTAR: Of course. He says, "Look our family grave is at the seafront." He says, "It is covered with marble. We covered it with marble all over." He says, "The trees are perfect. We planted redwood." He says, "It is with sea view." May Allah forgive. Now, even a child would not do this. It is inexplicable. You are under the dark ground. It is dark and black soil. How will you see the marble or the sea view from under the 2 meter ground? How come you say this? You will be gone to a completely different realm. Your soul is at Allah's Presence. Only your corpse stays behind. For instance a man's hair is cut at the barber and it stays there. Does that hair go and watch the view of Istanbul? What does that hair understand from marble?

PRESENTER 2: I think that such people boosting over graves, did not lose anyone that they love or value. How could a person advertise about his or her grave saying it is here or there?

ADNAN OKTAR: Allah created that to make an example. He shows us how people can fall into negligence, how they enter into a state of lack of thought. In the Qur'an, Allah shows believers denial as a miracle of the existence of Allah. Allah says, "Be amazed at this." The person is amazed at their acting all proud, their becoming depraved and their offensiveness. The person is amazed at their not being aware of Allah's existence, at their not being aware of themselves. The person is amazed at their forgetting about death.

PRESENTER 2: How could one forget about death?

ADNAN OKTAR: Well, he forgets, it doesn't even cross his mind insha'Allah. He goes to the hospital, he is almost in a comatose state, it is apparent that he is about to die but still he is juggling around. He still talks against the religion, against Islam.

It just came to my mind when we talked about religion; there should be no joking about religion, about Islam
