Excerpt from Mr. Adnan Oktar's Live Interview at Kanal Avrupa on June 13rd, 2010
ADNAN OKTAR: For example, what does Bediuzzaman say? "The two true brothers-Arab and Turk, who are like the shell and citadel of the nationhood of Islam. " Look "two true brothers: Arab and Turk," he says. "In fact, they are the sentries of that sacred citadel."Meaning they are the watchmen of the castle of Islam, they are on watch as a strength against any harm that may come. "Thus, through the bond of this sacred nationhood, all the people of Islam become like a single tribe." He is saying that all Muslims are like a single tribe, as a community. "Like the members of a tribe, the peoples and groups of Islam are bound and connected to one another through Islamic brotherhood." They are in connection and interested in one another. "They assist one another morally, and if necessary, materially." He says that Muslims help one another both materially and morally. "It is as if all the groups of Islam are bound to each other with a luminous chain." Bediuzzaman says that they are all tied to each other. There are many detailed explanations about this subject in the Risale-i Nur Collection; these are only a few of them. For example, Bediuzzaman says again: "It is because of this fact that at this time, and particularly in forty to fifty years' time," look 40-50 years after him, "evil and bad deeds will not remain with the perpetrator." A bad deed doesn’t stay on the person that did it. "They will transgress the rights of millions of Muslims." So it becomes an oppression done to all Muslims. For example, if someone attacks a Muslim somewhere, this concerns the law of all Muslims. Not only of Palestine or this and that. "Numerous examples of this shall be seen in forty to fifty years' time." Did we see it?
ALTUĞ BERKER: Of course.
ADNAN OKTAR: Right? Muslims were attacked and look Bediuzzaman says, "Numerous examples of this shall be seen." This is one of Bediuzzaman's prophecies. "Oh Brothers, who are listening to these words of mine here in the Umayyad Mosque! And, Oh, Muslim brothers in the mosque of the World of Islam forty to fifty years from now!"Beduizzaman is saying, "Oh Muslims" and he is referring to our century. He says, "Do not make apologies, saying: 'We do no harm, but neither do we have the power to do anything beneficial; therefore we are excused.' " He is saying that we should leave apologizing aside as there is nothing to apologize. Bediuzzaman says that this is very easy. Now they are saying such thing as an excuse. What could be the excuse for the union of Islam? What could be the excuse for the Turkish-Islamic Union? Of course. He says, "Such an apology is not acceptable." Bediuzaman says that there is no such excuse. "Your laziness and saying: "What is it to me?" look "Your laziness," there are those youngsters who give us advise, look he says, "Your laziness and your displaying no effort and not getting into the working spirit through Islamic unity and true Islamic brotherhood," That is because you did not have the ambition to unite Muslims as a single nation. ".. have done much damage and are an injustice to you" he says. Bediuzzaman says that you would be doing a great oppression by not supporting the union of Islam. "Just as bad deeds thus mount to thousands, so also at this time good deeds, that is, good deeds that affect the sacredness of Islam, do not remain restricted to the one who performs them. Indeed, such good deeds may in fact be beneficial to millions of believers." So for example when a person says “I want the union of Islam” in somewhere then you would benefit the whole Muslim community. Any activity for the unification of Muslims and Islam, somewhere, for example an activity you do in a town, a village would benefit the whole Islamic realm he says. Bediuzzaman says that if they do harm somewhere then it would harm the whole Islamic realm as the Islamic community is a whole and block whole. ".. they may strengthen the bonds of moral, spiritual, and material life.” Look, he says: “they may strengthen the bonds of moral, spiritual, and material life. Therefore, this is not the time to cast oneself on the bed of idleness, saying: 'What is it to me?' ". Look, "saying: 'What is it to me?'" he says that one should not say that this and that are happening in Afghanistan or Turkestan but it doesn't concern me. "Therefore, this is not the time to cast oneself on the bed of idleness, saying: 'What is it to me?' " So Bediuzzaman says that one will not just sit back. "O my brothers here in this mosque and my brothers forty to fifty years later in the mighty mosque of the world of Islam!" Bediuzzaman is calling to all Muslims, to our century insha'Allah. Look Bediuzzaman says: "With my faulty understanding" meaning with my lacking thoughts – he is being modest of course - , "I imagine Islamic society at this time in the form of a factory containing many machines." He says that Muslims community is like a big factory. "Should any components of the machines fall behind or encroach on another, which is its fellow," meaning all the impellors are working with or tied to one another. When one impellor is broken then the whole factory stops, "the machines cease to function." So its movement and production becomes corrupted. He says, "The exact time for Islamic unity is therefore beginning.." Look he is saying this in this own time. And Bediuzzaman says, "and this is the time of the End Times." That time he is saying time will come and now time has come. Time has come in the time of Hazrat Mahdi (pbuh), the year 2010. He is also giving a date for the union of Islam; 81, 91, 2001, 2011, 2021. "It necessitates not paying attention to one another's personal faults.." So Bediuzzaman says don't lose time with personal mistakes. Don't strive against one another, strive for this subject..
