Excerpt from Mr.Adnan Oktar's Live Interview on TV Kayseri dated March 3rd, 2010
ADNAN OKTAR:When I talk about a point, the people listening insincerely are very much inclined to misinterpret. Such jealous people who do not harbor love in their hearts, take the things I talk about from a different aspect. I said; Christians know themselves to be the true religion, I mean Christians believe that they will go to Heaven. Consequently they think that Muslims and Jews are not on the right path. Therefore, Allah knows the truth they believe the others will be going to Hell. And Jews believe that, I mean unless they regard the others as the B’nai Noah which is a completely different point, everyone other than the Jews will be going to Hell. We are Muslims, and according to our belief someone who doesn’t accept our Prophet(saas) as a Prophet would be committing a sin and would go to Hell. I mean if that person does not accept our Prophet right, if he doesn’t accept him to be a Prophet then the reward of it would be the Hell.. I mean there is no aspect to discuss in that. Okay, do we, I mean we the Muslims, Jews and Christian, I mean the members of these three religions, have to be in a war with each other because that is the case? Of course we will be seeing each other, talking to each other. Allah calls them the People of the Book, Allah refers to them as the People of the Book. But how would I ever be able to go and tell a Jewish person for instance; "My brother, you will definitely be going to Hell"? Allah might guide him to the right way later on. He might love our Prophet (saas), he might gain faith before his last breath or it might be that Qur'an was not communicated to him. I mean he might be like the people of interregnum, I mean no one has ever offered him the Qur'an. He might have been brought up in a closed environment. It might be that Allah would forgive him because of this situation. I mean we cannot say this is 100 percent the case. That is because that person might be in the position of the people of the interregnum or would gain faith in his last breath. Alright, if a Muslim brother comes along, would I ever be able to tell him "you will definitely go to Heaven". Can I ever say that? I can't say this. Alright can I tell a Muslim "You will definitely go to Hell?" I can't. Alright how am I to say that to a Christian "You will definitely go to Hell" then? How would I know, may be Allah will guide him to the right path at the last moment. He might love our Prophet(saas), he might love the Qur'an, he might convert to Islam and g oto Heaven. That is what I am saying, but I couldn't make it clear to some Stone headed people. They say " you are pro-dialogue, you see Christianity as the right religion, you seeJudaism as the right religion". My brother there is only one right religion. There is only Islam. Alright, you bone-headed let me call them, who ever they are in that mentality. If I were to think like that would I be saying night and day that everyone will be Muslims when the Prophet Jesus(pbuh) comes? Why am I saying this then? There would be no reason for everyone to convert to Islam had this been the case, right? If I am telling this, then that means that the right religion is Islam, I keep saying that people will convert to the right religion. The Prophet Jesus(pbuh) will come along with the Mahdi(pbuh) I keep saying, and rule among the Jews with the original Torah, the original form of it and he will rule among the Christians with the original Gospel. Until when this will be, until the Prophet Jesus comes. When the Jesus(pbuh) comes, all of them will be Muslims, I keep saying. What is wrong in that, what is abnormal in this?
OKTAR BABUNA:Estagfirullah, you are talking right Insha'Allah. You are defending the right.
ADNAN OKTAR:Right? My brother, either I fail to explain or bones in the heads of some people I am talking to started to develop, in some I mean. I consider the ones who understand free of this but I fail to understand if some of those carry stones instead of brains.
OKTAR BABUNA:You are talking to some Christian channels frequently. You have had some interviews both in televisions and in radio stations. You have even stated numerous times that the belief in trinity is wrong. You have explained this to the Christians.
ADNAN OKTAR:See that I have told them that the belief in Trinity was wrong, right? I have been repeating this insistently in every speech. I keep saying there is the principle "La ilahe Illallah." I say Allah is One, on the Christian channels. I have also talked on a Christian channel today from the United States. It took about an hour right?
OKTAR BABUNA:It was even a bit more.
ADNAN OKTAR:Masha'Allah, and we have also adopted a new technology Masha'Allah; I am talking to them in the kitchen or in my room where I sleep, in my bed, that is most perfect.
OKTAR BABUNA:And your voice is very clearly heard.
ADNAN OKTAR:Just laying on a bed we are able to talk to America and it is very easy. Previously we had to go to the studio, etc. Technology , Masha'Allah, has been granted to the Muslims as a blessing in the End Times insha'Allah. I mean now insha'Allah this point has been clearly understood. When a Muslim or a Jew comes along here, I can not be able to say "My brother you are going to go to Hell". I can neither say "You will all g oto Heaven." I do not know, Allah knows. For that reason I can neither tell the Muslims that "they will all go to Heaven" nor tell the Christians that "they will definitely go to Hell". Allah knows, I mean that person can have faith at the very last moment or it might be that he is already a Muslim but not showing it. Or it might be that he is a person of interregnum, I mean no one had ever told him about the Qur'an. For instance it might be that they live an isolated life in some certain districts, and they never let them read a book or have access to any kind of information. Allah might consider them to be the people of interregnum. We do not know. But it is unlawful to deny the fact that our Prophet (saas) is a Prophet. It is an evident fact that our Prophet(saas) is a true Prophet. I mean with which conscious one might deny that fact, according to which belief one might do that, there should be an abnormal situation for it to be denied. Everything is right, everything is correct and it is evident that he actually is a a Prophet. Just as all the Jewish people visiting me, masha'Allah all of them, acknowledged him to be the Prophet, they all accept the Qur'an, they all refer to it as a rightful book. But they say "We are Jewish" I mean they say " We are Jewish, but if we have a deficiency we would want to make it complete."
OKTAR BABUNA:Moreover; there were some among them that performed prayers together with the community in the mosque.
ADNAN OKTAR:I mean my brother, if they do not get in contact with the Muslims, if they do not talk to them, how else would they become Muslims? They say "be their enemies, hate them, keep away, act despotically". Then how will they become Muslims? Dialogue is a very repulsive word, and I have never said anything alike. We are friends, we can talk to them, we can have a friendly chat, we are brothers. They say "don't call them friends," okay my brother what are we to call them then? What will we say? Shall we call them man, an individual? Shall we call them some person, what am I to call them? What does one call a person visiting his house as a guest? One has to speak to them in gentleness. Am I to call them "you the unbeliever, welcome"? I mean how can something like that be said? Had he call me like that, would that be appropriate? Would it be acceptable if he had said "you the unbeliever, welcome" when I come along? If I were to meet a Christian, that person says "welcome" in all his kindness, and I tell him "welcome my brother". He doesn't see me on the right path, and I do not consider him to be on the right path. That is most natural. He would try and make me become a Christian, I would try to make him a Muslim. But in the end, the rightful way will win, right?
OKTAR BABUNA:Among the guests attending to your press conference, there was a leader of the Orthodox coming from Israel. He gave a statement in that press conference declaring that he believed in the Oneness of Allah
ADNAN OKTAR:Of course, I mean one cannot reach anywhere with such emnity and hadred. We cannot select bad words and use them for people visiting us.How would one say such a thing to a person coming as a guest? How could I ever tell them "You the unbeliever, come I will tell you about Islam"? Of course I would say "welcome my brother" I would say "May Allah guide you to the right way". He treats me kindly and of course I will be kind to him in response insha'Allah. In fact they believe in all Prophets, they believe in the Angels, they believe in the Hereafter, they just do not believe in our Prophet(saas). And it is only possible for us to tell them about that with our good morals. But if we were to constitute a bad example, then they would move away, it would have an reverse effect. It is not acceptable.
