Excerpt from Mr. Adnan Oktar's live interview on Kahramanmaraş Aksu TV and Kackar TV dated June 17th, 2010
PRESENTER :"As-Salamun Alaykum Master. I would be delighted if you could enlighten us about determination, that is to say not receding from one's pledge to Allah, not to turn back to the sins. I am awaiting for your prayers. Yasin."
ADNAN OKTAR: Our dear Yasin, first of all for your salam; Alaykum As-Salam wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuhu. Now if someone I love tells me not to do something, I would not do that. I would never do it when Allah says so. When I say I love someone, I do so as intending to love the manifestation of Allah in that person. Consequently displeasing Allah is a very dreadful thing. Doing something Allah does not approve. Something He tells us not to do. He says so with a goodness in, with a wisdom behind. For instance what does Allah tell us? For instance He tells us "not to eat pork." Almighty Allah is saying something very auspicious and very good for us. That is both beneficial for our health and that is said by Allah Whom I love very much. Of course I would do so as He tells me to do, I would do so instantly. I can't even bring myself to visualize the contrary. That is because acting in the contrary is an agony, it causes pain that is, insha'Allah. The reward for that is Hell. Furthermore there is the pain of displeasing my Beloved One. That is a very severe pain. Right? Consequently a faithful person, a person who loves Allah cannot do the contrary, he can't even think of it. The lawful things are so much, they are innumerable. A man's life would not be enough to list the lawful blessings. And we can list the unlawful ones in two minutes. The unlawful ones are so few in number. But the lawful ones, if we sit hear and start to count them one by one, from morning till night, inherit to do so from father to son, I guess we would not be able finish listing them. That is the amount of lawful acts. My brother, why would I ever commit a sin from that two minutes list? Right?
