Excerpt from Mr. Adnan Oktar’s interview on TV Kayseri and Samsun Aks TV dated June 2nd, 2010
ADNAN OKTAR: "My dear Master, what is your comment about the following lesson of Imam Rabbani: "The time for performing religious services is youth." Yes, of course one should start performing religious services while still young. "The wise one would not let this time pass and consider it a prize. That is because work is important, people might not live to be old. Let's assume that they did, being collected and pulling themselves upright would not fall onto their share. Let us assume being collected and pulling himself upright was possible for one; he wouldn't have the strength to perform a deed. That is because it is the time weakness and helplessness overtake." That is to say in old-age there is helplessness anyway. Right? "There is weakness. Whereas at the moment there is the possibility of collecting one's act together and pulling himself upright. It is easy to attain," he says. This is sent by Miss. Berna. Masha'Allah. That is right, there is no explanation for one not to perform his religious services while young anyway. When we say performing religious services, that is, Islam is very easy anyway. I mean people are going through such hardships, for instance to succeed in the university exams, they tolerate a lot of suffering. At the end, nothing is happening anyway. Right? You just say "I have been graduated". So what? We say; what happened in the end? "I have become a Certified Engineer" he says. "Masha'Allah, what did you do?" we say. "I am looking for a job," he replies. He looks for a job and "I did find a job at last" he says very happily. He had found a job somewhere for 1000 liras. "But if I work hard it would be 1500 years later," he says for instance, he gives us that good news. Okay Masha'Allah. I mean how many years have you been struggling for that, right? I mean he gives his 20 years in total. And at the end he gets about 1500 liras salary..
