ALTUG BERKER:On every subject you have mentioned before, plentiful auspicious and really good results are attained when your words are kept. However when they are not implemented, the results end up to be the opposite.  For instance we have taken this out of our archives with our friends. See here, this is with your pen name, Cavit Yalcin. This is another pen name you have been using. You also have books about this subject.  This is from January 3rd, 2003. That is just a bit before Saddam, I mean America started the war. You have written an article with the heading "in search of solution" and stated that Saddam should leave the country and thus prevent the bloodshed and that this would be a solution. This is in Ortadogu Newspaper. 

ADNAN OKTAR:Yes the war was not broken out then. There were no incidents yet and Saddam was still governing. Yes. 

ALTUG BERKER:This was a solution, when he leaves the country, the war will not break out and no Muslim's blood would be shed and he wouldn't- 

ADNAN OKTAR:This was on Milli Gazete two days on a row. My article was also published in Milli Gazete these days. 

ALTUG BERKER:And this is the second day Master, you also mentioned this there.. 

ADNAN OKTAR:Yes 

ALTUG BERKER:And just after 15 days, exactly 12 days later these started to take place in the papers. 

ADNAN OKTAR:America maintained my opinion. I mean they maintained my ideas and forwarded my ideas to Saddam. I mean, "you go away", I said "nothing will happen to your family. Let America give a guarantee for your family". America did give that guarantee for his family. They said nothing will happen to your family. I told him to go abroad. America accepted that as well. 

America later on, forwarded everything I said to Saddam one by one. And this has also taken place in the media. I mean as the clear solution. And I have also sent an article to the Vakit newspaper. And Vakit had published it in the front page. It was published as a news item. As the main news, it was published . America had accepted this model as well. This model that I have explained. However Saddam didn't apply this. I mean he didn't work with the model I have proposed. 

ALTUG BERKER:The General Secretary of the UN had voiced this solution offer, as well once the party of Bush had accepted this offer 10 days after you first suggested it. They have taken your offer for a solution to them, however when it was not applied, the result is obvious.. 

ADNAN OKTAR:For instance then the government also gave him a guarantee. They told him " leave the country , we will protect you". I mean after my suggestion Turkey maintained this position as well. America made an offer. Turkey attended. I said so, I mean I said " you will be attended to". I told him "they will attend you." But he didn't keep my word and he acted proud. He acted like a bully and devastated the whole country. 

PRESENTER:Whereas this was a reasonable and acceptable solution. 

ADNAN OKTAR:Of course. I mean they have announced it as headlines through various channels, both from Ortadogu newspaper and Milli Gazete and in Vakit newspaper so that he would keep my words, insha'Allah. And also in America it was published in the internet at first and then it was covered in the media extensively.  Days after America examined this, my opinions and have it all implemented as it is. They wanted to implement it. As it is. They have accepted it, accepted this method of peace. 

PRESENTER:  Well then Master, I am sure lots of people share my idea or they would like to share this question. I would like to let them reach the answer. In matters that you voice with such a clear and explicit manner and even though they know that all these are being realized, why don't they implement your suggestions, why, with which reason do they .. 

ADNAN OKTAR:Don't do it?

PRESENTER:or why do they postpone it. I mean in the end they come to your words. They do as you say but you tell them that these will happen if they do not behave the way you tell them to behave, but they only act after these start to happen. Why do they act this late?

ADNAN OKTAR: Allah is showing people the importance of consulting and counseling.  For instance Allah showed this to Saddam as well, also to his government. Allah showed it to the other people. I mean holding consultation is a provision of the Qur'an.  One needs to hold consultation. Allah says: " Are they the same – those who know and those who do not know? Ask from the ones who know". You never know who the one that knows is. I mean you never know. The person you least expect might know a lot of things.  Had Saddam hold my word at that time, none of those would have happened to him. But everything is happening according to the destiny. I am saying these, but Khidr says as well. And that was how it was written in the destiny but Allah showed people the importance of holding the words. Allah had thus given them a lesson. I mean had you kept the word this would not have happened. But since you didn't keep the word, these have happened,  this is the image Almighty Allah had shown people. 

PRESENTER:Allah wants you to say these. You are saying these but they are not implementing them. The choice here is left to the servant. This means the servant is not using his intelligence

ADNAN OKTAR:Allah is showing people the cost of making this a matter of pride, of not keeping the word. I have explained them these very extensive at that time I mean we have sent our ideas to the United States. We have sent these to the American government at the time. And they were all published in the papers, so that nobody could claim that they didn't hear. These were all transmitted to Saddam as well. 

Nevertheless he acted like a bully. He didn't keep our word in the least. See he was to go abroad and stay safe with his family and children. And no one would ever interfere with him.  He was just to leave the government and another civil government was to come, a democratic government was to come and the matter would have been solved. There wouldn't be a war. He acted haughtily. He acted in as an inconceivable bully. And that didn't end as he hoped, he went underground and so..  people and nation had suffered from it. You know that at first he acted like a bully shouting; "come on, come if you are man enough". And so they did. He then ran away. I mean the situation was very weird. 

A person should always act in consultation. This is an explicit provision of the Qur'an. Allah commanded our Prophet (saas) and the other prophets to act like this, Allah told them to manage their affairs in consultation. 
But He tells him that the last word is his. That is to say, these happen when you do not act in consultation…
