Excerpt from Mr.Adnan Oktar's live interview on Adiyaman Asu TV dated August 16th, 2010
Adnan Oktar:But sweet Nermin you are now.. she is very sweet, as far as I understand she has good assumptions about me. She says, "It is said that if you see the Mahdi you must go and see him even if by crawling over snow." It is said, "Help him." Not "see him". We will help Hazrat Mahdi (pbuh). It is not enough to see him.. Now I am a student of the Mahdi as well. I am a pioneer of Hazrat Mahdi (pbuh). But I protect and watch over the Hazrat Mahdi (pbuh) with all my power and means and help him. Insha'Allah. What do I do? First of all, I attack the system of the dajjal (anti-christ). I attack bigotry. How? With science and knowledge.. And I employ a rational fashion, insha'Allah.
Now there is such a belief about the Mahdi among the public: There is a Mahdi. He beams lights. He is somewhere. He has his students around him. They sit around him. You go to the Mahdi. Everything he touches turns into gold anyway. Heis immensely rich and powerful. He says "Oh son welcome." They immediately set a table for him. He says, "Show the boy a place to sleep" like in historical movies. This is how it is. He asks, "Command me." And he says, "You will do such and such." This is not how it should be. I have a deep love and compassion for the system of the Mahdi and Hazrat Mahdi (pbuh). But I do not go and say, "Oh Mahdi help me, protect and watch over me," do I? I say, "I do want to support you Master." I say, "I want to help you with all my power." For example what do I do? I write books and I do not get any royalty. So I support in one way. For example, I distribute books free of charge. For example I could go and say to whomever I think is the Mahdi, "Master if you have any books, give them to me so that I can distribute." I do not say that. I would say, "I will go, find the books myself and distribute them." Right?
That is, I would never say protect and watch over me. There is such wrong image they have. I mean, they imagine there is a Mahdi and you go and sit down. You do not think about the rest. There is no such thing.
It is not enough to go and see. We have a responsibility to help the system of the Mahdi with all our strength, with all our means, intelligence and power. Only then we would be showing love for the Mahdi (pbuh). Only then we help him even by crawling over snow.
For example, they think like this: You go by crawling over snow. He gets you up from the ground. He gives you clothing. He feeds you. He asks, "Are you cold?" He gives you a warm home. Right? Then he gives you a mission. He gives you travelling money. There is no such Mahdi belief. The students of the Mahdi should be the ones who can do everything by themselves, who can be enough for themselves in everything. Or anyone else can do the opposite. There is no such thing.
Or they hope for help from him. For instance, he will not face any troubles when they come near him. He will not face no difficulties. He will not face any pain. For example, if I go to someone who I know as the Mahdi (pbuh), I would accept to get imprisoned very easily. How long? For life time. I would accept to be imprisoned for life. I would accept to be martyrized with all my heart and soul anyway. They can come and rip my arms off. It does not matter. Right? All my possessions and money can be his. Right? Whatever he wants insha'Allah. For example, if he says that I will be his doorman till evening I would say okay. Whatever he says, and I would never cause him any trouble. This is how it should be done. It is known wrongly.
For example they go to let's assume somewhere. For example to Sheikh Nazim. I know this. I saw. They come. Now for example they say, "I have a headache, pray for my head." Okay he prays. He says, "I want to stay here at night." Okay he stays. He eats there. They prepare a bed and the means for him. He says, "May Allah bless you. I must go now." What contribution did you make? Right? Go and distribute the books of Sheikh Nazim. Record his lessons on video. Go and distribute them to people to listen. Causing him difficulty is not supporting him. No, he has a generous heart, he would like doing those, that is another thing. But it is important to be a person who does not cause any trouble. One has to be a person who causes easiness. Right?
Oktar Babuna:Yes master insha'Allah.
Adnan Oktar:Saying; "Master, I will get married, so get me married". "I got married but I cannot pay my debts." Right? Now is it time for this? Among those urgent matters of life, in which Muslims are being slaughtered; is your getting married an urgent issue? Right? Or he says, "My business is going bad" like this is the main topic. That is because the target turns into something completely different. You have gone there to serve for the good pleasure of Allah. You did not go there to solve your daily problems. The man goes there to solve his daily problems. This is not how it should be. He goes to solve his personal problems. This is not how it should be. Are they not going to be able to solve those without Master Sheikh Nazim? They are. So what is the purpose there? This is not right. But Master Sheikh Nazim is of course generous; he might have the means and do those. But I am only saying these as an example. It is not about going and causing difficulties.
But of course I know that sweet Nermin's intention is very clean and honest. But I have found the opportunity to clarify a logic with her being instrumental. Or else, I have felt her sincerity, enthusiasm and love Masha'Allah. Yes Oktar say it.
Oktar Babuna: I am reading a verse master. I seek refuge with Allah from the satan. Allah says, "You who have faith! do not say, 'Ra'ina' (tend to us) say, 'Undhurna,'(watch over us)." Insha'Allah.
Adnan Oktar: Yes. That is the exact reflection of the verse. It is always known like that. For example, you go to that blessed person and you entreat him, you sit down right beside him. So everyone can come and sit right beside him, and then what? Right? It is important to serve for Allah, it is important to sacrifice for Allah. Right? It is very important to devote one's youth, life to Allah. To devote one's self to Allah is important.
