Excerpt from Mr. Adnan Oktar's Live Interview at HarunYahya.TV on July 21st, 2010
OKTAR BABUNA: "They are indeed a disputatious people."
ADNAN OKTAR:Yes, "a disputatious people".. They are very fond of arguing like quarrelsome women. Those scoundrels engage in demagoguery. You explain something but then he says, "Then why is this like that?" You explain that, then he says, "Then why is that like this?" His purpose is not to learn, only to engage in demagoguery and only to cause disorder. To give the image that there is a dilemma. They are very fond of dispute in order to give the image that they cannot get on intellectually. They are very argumentative. Allah reveals in the verse, "More than anything else, man is argumentative!" This character is very developed in hypocrites. When you talk about arguing, no one can hold a candle to them. They are constantly in the mood of researching. They search constantly because they are double minded, they keep on searching. But hypocrites are more inclined to polytheists. They try to find something from amongst them. They are more inclined to polytheism. They get along with polytheists much better. They also get on with unbelievers but they enjoy polytheists better. They look for polytheism more and they are very argumentative, that is because of their arrogance. That is because argument is something that feeds arrogance. Arguing someone down, beating someone at a debate, quarrelsomeness, making insinuations, quarreling are characteristics of the hypocrite..
