ADNAN OKTAR: However the things that a person enjoys the most should be passion, profundity and love. That is because nothing would come out of the flesh; at the end of the day a human being has classically a skull, a spine, a liver, a spleen and nothing else right? There is blood underneath the skin and if the skin is lifted up for only a millimeter, it is all red; for example they lift the woman's skin up in surgeries or something, there are such pictures in medical books; it is horrific. A little skin changes the whole thing. When the skin is on, he says "how beautiful she is, she looks perfect, she is magnificent". He can even take the risk of death. They make scenes for women, they attack one another and they lead to strife or even battle in which they kill 40-50 people you know. But if they lifted that skin off and showed it before the surgery, instead of doing those, the man would look for a place to hide. And he would do nothing of the sort. This is how weak Humans are created.

"Only those who sin deny": A sinful person  is the one who does not follow the commands of the Qur'an, who does not follow the lawful and unlawful acts and says that it does not matter for him. However, Allah created us as quiet free. Allah did not place Muslims under a press or leave them in straits, but created them to be as free as possible. There are many many lawful acts defined in the Qur'an and the Hadith and the number of unlawful acts is very very low, very limited. What's more abstaining from unlawful acts gives happiness to people. For instance, Allah deemed fornication unlawful. This gives men strength. This also gives women strength. Otherwise, a woman who acts freely loses her strength. Since there is no limit, she loses her inner strength of soul and electricity. Therefore, it would have no meaning for her anyway. For instance, it is the same with a woman covering her body. Had a woman is uncovered all over, then she would have no specialty, no meaning as she would completely loose her mystery, her impressive power and her strength that causes a deep influence in the soul.  She would become something else. She would give a monkey-like impression.

PRESENTER: What would "her covering herself all over" mean?

ADNAN OKTAR: Covering herself all over.. That actually depends on her preference. Because sometimes a woman covers herself all over as a requisite of her faith and she feels happy and joyful about her belief. And sometimes she would do it because it looks good. Or she might cover herself in order to hide a defect. For instance she might not like her physical appearance so she covers herself. Her face might be beautiful only, so she might want to show only her face so she covers the rest.

PRESENTER: This you mentioned is probably a minority.

ADNAN OKTAR: It might be a minority, I mean of course it is a minority but in some places they might be a majority. For example it is a majority in Saudi Arabia and Afghanistan; but of course it is a minority in European countries. To tell the truth, women should be left alone to their own devices in respect of clothing; they should be free about it. Let her dress herself however she wants. There should be no oppression. In fact that is the source of hypocrisy. For instance, a woman might cover her head but she might be a hypocrite; as the phrase goes "she might have a way for everything".  That same woman might be quiet loose. She does not need to cover herself. She can do as she likes, but she has to be like whoever she is. There is nothing that states she must cover herself. This has a meaning only for those who have faith and only for those who are smart.  In addition covering oneself differs according to tradition, customs and belief.

PRESENTER: Social restraints are also effective most of the time.

ADNAN OKTAR: But there should be no restraint of course, no oppression. For instance, the forbidden acts.. In fact abiding by the lawful and unlawful acts mentioned in the Qur'an, make people more beautiful at the end. For instance they give meaning to women and it is the same for women as well; they give meaning to men in the eyes of women. For example there are also men who are prostitutes. For instance women are disgusted and revolted by such prostitute men. They find it repulsive. There are such insincere people who act like showmen. They have some classical poses and games and insincere moves like made by a movie actor. He sees something on a movie and does that. He sees a smile so he does that. He sees a gesture in a movie and he does that also.  That is so degrading. So when an intelligent, a smart woman sees this, she would be revolted by that and would consider it to be very repulsive. But those idiots would assume that they are extremely smart and extra ordinarily attractive. Women twist such types of men around their fingers and they do not even realize. He would assume that he is the one twisting her around his finger and that he is deceiving her, leading her and would think that he is slowly putting her into shape and so.  However women are very smart. She knows what his real purpose is very well. She feels it very explicitly     but she adopts a particular attitude according to that and acts as if she does not understand it at all.
