Excerpt from Mr.Adnan Oktar's live interview on Harun Yahya TV dated July 29th, 2010
ADNAN OKTAR:People cannot see the Mahdi (pbuh) at the moment, but everyone is benefitting from him. For instance, he is being instrumental in the whole world turning to faith. He is instrumental in Muslims in India coming to have faith, and Muslims in America. But people do not know this, they do not know why. They develop a courage, and confidence and determination come to them. But by dint of long research, they will eventually arrive at the source. I mean it comes through many reflections. In other words, the movement of the Mahdi, the Mahdi (pbuh) draws light from Allah, from Almighty Allah. That is reflected in another mirror. And that mirror reflects it to a hundred other mirrors. And those hundred reflect it to a thousand mirrors. You can follow the source of the sunlight by following those mirrors. You say, "Who taught you this?" He says, "I learned it from there." Then you ask him, "And where did you learn it from?" "From that book." And you ask where the book received that information from. "From there," And you ask, "And where did you get it from?" And we see that in the end it all goes back to the Mahdi (pbuh). That is the source.
Look all over the world. See that Ayman al-Zawahiri. He is one of the commanders of al-Qaida, someone known. He says, "Salvation will be from Turkey". That is special knowledge of the movement of the Mahdi. Where did you get that information? It is a secret of the movement of the Mahdi, isn't it? It is the scent of the movement of the Mahdi. Where did you get that scent from? But they do not use the methods of the movement of the Mahdi. That is because there is no bloodshed in the movement of the Mahdi. Look, he admits that their method will not work. "From Turkey," he says. There is a secular state in Turkey. The state does not follow a policy aimed towards religion or making people devout. The state does not engage in such activity. Neither does the state do any anti-communist, anti-Darwinist work. So when he says Turkey, he does not mean the state.
Let us assume he means the followers of the Nur. They are divided among themselves. They need to be united as well. We ask Muhammed Rashid Erol, and we go to that address and knock on all the doors. He says: "There is nothing I can do. The Mahdi (pbuh) has now come. We are just trying to educate people. But there is nothing we can do. It is all down to the Mahdi." You have seen and read about it. We hunt the address down and eventually get to the door. "Yes, we have found the address," we say. That is how the address is found. We will find it by following the way to the one that is, through those places that are not. They are asking "Where is the Mahdi?" This is how you are going to find him. You must knock on every door. "Could this be it?" No. "Is this it?" No. "Is this it?" No. But then you will come to a door and when asked "is this it?" you say, "Allah knows the fact, this is it." That is because the movement of the Mahdi is the door where you will find all the signs and conditions that you have been searching for. Look, al-Qaida has the world trembling in its boots. Look they do not say, "We will save the world." They say, "The Mahdi will save it. And he is in Turkey?" What more can I say?
The movement of the Mahdi does not say, "I am the Mahdi, come and find me." People will find him. Some say "I don't want to seek him out", Allah will make you seek. What does someone with cancer do? He goes to the doctor, to hospital, doesn't he? Someone who used to say, "I'd never go to hospital" suddenly rushes off there. When he arrives at the hospital, he says, "Who is the best doctor here?" The doctor has his students, but he wants to know "who is the very best?" "Him," they say. Right? And he tells him what is wrong. It is the same with the movement of the Mahdi. There is a hospital, there are doctors, and also a chief physician. He goes to the doctors but says, "I would be better seeing the chief physician." Doesn't he? "Actually, let me consult him." And that chief physician is the Mahdi (pbuh). Insha'Allah.
Allah forces someone who says, "I am not looking for him" to do so. For instance he may say, "I do not want to see the anti-Christ." But the anti-Christ forces you to make his acquaintance, by making you wallow. He grabs you by the throat, so you cry out "You are the anti-Christ." That is what you will say. Allah will make you say it. When the anti-Christ is at your throat, you too will say, "Oh Lord, send the Mahdi." There is no other escape for you. Because you are saying, "Oh Lord, save me." The sick man, that man with cancer, he says, "Save me." What does he do? He goes to the doctor. He does not wait for a miracle. He does not expect to get better for no reason. He employs reasons, right? He wants medicines. That medicine is the Mahdi (pbuh).
When one says, "O Lord, save me from the anti-Christ," Almighty Allah has shown the solution, and that is the movement of the Mahdi. One cannot say, "Save me without using any cause." Because we would die without natural causes, without eating, for instance. We say, "O Lord, give us life," but we cling to natural causes. We would die without breathing, or without drinking water. Natural causes must be clung to. The movement of the Mahdi is like bread and water. It is an absolute need, by the leave of Allah, a natural cause. Allah manifests in the movement of the Mahdi. That is why people will certainly see both the anti-Christ and the Mahdi even if they appear to be totally uninterested or totally indifferent. For instance, in Turkey if you ask people; "Do you know the anti-Christ?" they would say "No." But if you say, "Who planted that bomb there?" They will say, "The PKK." Who made the PKK bomb that place? The anti-Christ, the movement of the anti-Christ. Can one ignore that? Right?
Many people carry around bits of shrapnel or bullets in them. There are those who bear the bullets of the anti-Christ. The anti-Christ, the movement of the anti-Christ has taken an eye or an arm from them. It has taken their children, martyred their children, demolished their homes and set the streets at loggerheads. They say, "The anti-Christ is at work at the moment, do not go out." Nobody can go out. The anti-Christ is walking around the streets. He is putting on a show of strength and no one can go out of their houses. One says, "I do not know the anti-Christ." It is irrelevant whether you know him, you are living with him, but you only do not know his name. It is the anti-Christ that is not letting you out. The movement of the anti-Christ does not let you out. May be you call it something else, you might not be able to spell it right but your ignorance is irrelevant. But you are effectively under the influence of the anti-Christ. If you are looking for salvation, you cannot go out of that house without the Mahdi. When you seek shelter in Allah, you say, "O Lord, send me a savior." They say this in verses as well. "O Lord", they say "send us a savior."
That is also what the people now saying: "Lord", they say, "send us a cause, a savior." That savior is the movement of the Mahdi. Insha'Allah. If one insists on ignoring it, Allah will force one to recognize the fact. The movement of the Mahdi opposing the movement of the anti-Christ, is like the blood that carries sugar and oxygen in the body. I mean it is natural, do we fell that oxygen and sugar being carried in our bodies? No. They just spread naturally.
Today in Turkey there is a feeling that Turkish-Islamic Union will come about. Also in Azerbaijan etc. For instance Visas have been done away with. A government cannot act unless it takes strength from its base, from its roots. The government draws strength from the nation. The government enacts the demands of the nation. It cannot act of its own accord. The nation wanted visas to be lifted, and the government did it. Look, the nation says, "We don't want passports, either." And you will see them abolished, as well. There is a power who is teaching this to the people, who is telling these to the people. And that is the movement of the Mahdi. It is invisible. I mean, the movement of the Mahdi is an unseen force, but it constantly progresses and advances. And it is instrumental in people having blessings. People are unaware of it. There are many poems about the Mahdi, and one says, "People have become hostile to the person who is the cause of their wealth and happiness." He saves them, saves them from death; there is a hand at their throats, he removes the hand from their throats, but they are inimical to him. They become hostile to their liberator. But the movement of the Mahdi does not insist, "You must know me." It makes no such claim. Insha'Allah. And in an environment in which the most stupid most irrationals are around, it serves the most stupid and most irrational, the ignorant, the intellectual, to those of good conscience and those unconscionable. I mean it saves the devout and the irreligious, the stupid and the intelligent. That is, it does not abandon the stupid, just because he is stupid. The movement of the Mahdi also pities the stupid, doesn't feel rage against the stupid, nor against the errant, nor against the fool. That is because Allah creates them, too. It pities for them too, it will protect them as well. There is no hatred, nor rage in the movement of the Mahdi. It does not discriminate, I mean doesn't discriminate saying this is clever and this is stupid. It regards them all as servants created by Allah. It feels affection for them all. Otherwise it would not be the movement of the Mahdi. That is because Allah manifests with His titles of the Rahman(The Most Compassionate) and the Rahim (Most-Merciful) . The movement of the Mahdi is a manifestation of Allah's Name, Rahman and Rahim. It is after saving them all, the wronged, the rich, the poor, the intelligent, the stupid, the denier and the hypocrite. But if one insists, "I do not want to be saved," then Allah will inflict the appropriate scourge. The movement of the Mahdi also wants to save the hypocrite. But the hypocrite resists and persists in this immorality. So there is nothing more the system of the Mahdi can do. Like going to the doctor and being taken to the emergency department, then being given serum and heart massage, and oxygen and electric shocks. But in the end they say, "We did all we could, but he died." But of course, the hypocrite is not like that, but I am using a metaphor. Also with the hypocrite, one does all one can do but that hypocrite is determined to go to hell. Hell draws him like a magnet. The movement of the Mahdi tries to save him, but he goes off there anyway, and sticks to the lowest level of hell. That is how he is created. Hell attracts him like a magnet, and off to Hell he will go, Insha'Allah.
Beautiful deeds from you
