ADNAN OKTAR: ... How and when should we explain religion to the children? First of all, they should tell them about Allah and our Prophet (saas) before telling them about their grandfathers. Kids are familiar with their grandfathers; yet they have to be more familiar with the Prophet (saas).  First, he’ll know about the Prophet, then he’ll learn about the grandfather. A kid knows his father, right? He knows his parents. But he should know Prophet (saas) before getting to know them.  He will know the Prophet better, he’ll love him more, his love towards him will be incomparable. Then, he’ll learn about Mahdi (as) and the Prophet Jesus (as). A child who knows about Mahdi, would be very wise, fruitful and full of peace. Satan cannot come closer. And as a result, he would not shout at the top of  his voice. He wouldn’t go berserk. He would be peaceful and wise. His face would have some sort of pleasantness.The way he speaks would be pleasant. He should know and love Allah, our Prophet (saas), the Mahdi (as), the Prophet Jesus (as); with a great love. Even at the age of four, he should know; insha'Allah. He will grow older with that love and affection. Otherwise, satan would impose himself on the child. He keeps on screaming, crying, damaging around. Both the parents and the child would feel uncomfortable. Yet, in case they do as I descibe; the child would feel relieved in heart and soul; he would be lighted with compassion. He would get his anguish and suffering off himself; satan cannot come near him. Instead of screaming and shouting; he becomes a cheering, joyful boy. He feels pure joy. He becomes happy, flashing smiles; and he becomes extremely healthy. Whatever he does, would be pleasant; you would enjoy his each deed. So, the age four is fine. Four and five.
